Built on the award-winning COLOR-STREAM® platform, it offers communication speeds up to 16 times faster than traditional DMX, providing liquid-smooth dimming and seamless color transitions. Utilizing GVA’s COLOR-AMP® technology, the FL100-GEN2-OM delivers up to three times the light output compared to conventional multichannel luminaires, enabling impressive brightness and flexibility for architectural wall washing, grazing, and spot lighting projects.
This fixture achieves high punch color mixing through 60 discrete high-power LEDs, delivering up to 10,807 lumens per channel. It supports ultra-narrow beam angles as tight as 4°, while the COLOR-STREAM® platform ensures high-speed communication at 6.25 Mbps, with refresh rates up to 120 frames per second and 12-bit dimming resolution at a 40 kHz dimming frequency. GVA’s INFINITY® technology allows up to 39 FL100-GEN2 luminaires to be linked in a single continuous run, supported by leader and jumper cables up to 100 meters (328 feet) long. The fixture uses sealed push-lock connectors for power-data through-wiring, providing a reliable and secure connection.
Designed to withstand harsh environments, the FL100-GEN2-OM operates reliably in temperatures ranging from -40°C to +50°C (-40°F to 122°F), with inherent progressive thermal protection and compliance with ANSI C136.31-2018 vibration standards suitable for bridge and overpass applications. Its compact dimensions of 277 mm by 305 mm by 94 mm (10.9 in x 12.0 in x 3.7 in) and lightweight design at 7 kg (15.4 lbs) make it easy to install. The diecast aluminum housing features an ultra-weatherable, UV-resistant AAMA 2604 compliant powder coating, with options for white, silver, black, or custom colors. The fixture is IP66 rated for use in dry, damp, or wet locations and includes optically clear tempered glass for durability. It also meets IK07 impact standards and offers a variety of field-adjustable brackets for versatile mounting.
The FL100-GEN2-OM supports multiple color changing configurations, including RGBW options ranging from 1800K to 6500K and RGBA, along with an impressively wide selection of 15 symmetrical and elliptical optical distributions. Optical accessories are available for glare control, further enhancing application flexibility. The fixture accommodates a wide range of input voltages, including INF (380 V DC), ELV (48 V DC), and multiple AC inputs from 100 V to 277 V. Control is managed via Art-Net 4, sACN, DMX-512A, and DALI/DALI 2 protocols through GVA’s Power-Data Converter PDC-GEN5, with all fixtures dimmable and controllable by default.
Each luminaire operates on four control channels and benefits from GVA’s proprietary COLOR-STREAM® communication protocol, capable of refresh rates up to 120 Hz (default 60 Hz). The system offers 12-bit dimming resolution with 4,096 micro-steps per color, ensuring exceptionally smooth dimming and color transitions. The high-frequency dimming, equivalent to 40 kHz, guarantees flicker-free lighting suitable for human vision and high-speed video capture. Furthermore, the luminaire operates silently throughout the full dimming range and features a configurable exponential dimming curve to match the human eye’s natural perception of brightness changes.
