The FL25-GEN2-IM is the next evolution in GVA’s FL series of architectural spot and flood luminaires, featuring advanced inner mixing technology for outstanding color performance. Designed for both functional and aesthetic lighting applications, this compact yet powerful fixture is built on GVA’s award-winning COLOR-STREAM® platform, enabling communication speeds up to 6.25 Mbps—16 times faster than standard DMX. With a refresh rate of up to 200 frames per second and a 12-bit dimming resolution at 40 kHz, it delivers flicker-free, liquid-smooth dimming and seamless color transitions, making it ideal for high-end architectural applications including wall washing, grazing, and precise spotlighting.
The FL25-GEN2-IM features six high-output quadchip LEDs that enable in-optic color mixing for exceptional color uniformity. GVA’s proprietary COLOR-AMP® technology boosts output to as much as 954 lumens per channel—up to three times the brightness of conventional multichannel fixtures. It supports both RGBW30K and RGBA configurations, offering lighting designers the flexibility to match project-specific aesthetics and functional needs. Optical performance is further enhanced by a high-efficiency PMMA TIR lens, micro-lens film, and optically clear tempered glass. The luminaire is available with an impressive selection of 13 symmetrical and elliptical beam angles, including 10°, 20°, 30°, 40°, 60°, 80°, 90°, and several horizontal and vertical elliptical distributions, making it suitable for a wide range of architectural lighting tasks.
Built for demanding exterior environments, the FL25-GEN2-IM is IP66 rated and constructed from die-cast aluminum with a highly weatherable AAMA 2604-compliant powder coat finish, available in white, silver, or black as standard. Custom colors can also be specified. The housing is impact-rated to IK07 and features progressive thermal protection for reliable operation in temperatures ranging from -40°C to +50°C. The fixture supports installation in dry, damp, or wet locations with 0–100% humidity and complies with ANSI C136.31-2018 standards for bridge and overpass vibration resistance. Dimensions measure 169 mm x 189 mm x 87 mm (6.7 in x 7.4 in x 3.4 in), and the fixture weighs 3 kg (6.6 lbs).
Control flexibility is a key strength of the FL25-GEN2-IM. It can be seamlessly integrated into complex lighting systems using Art-Net 4, sACN, DMX-512A, or DALI 2 protocols via GVA’s PDC-GEN5 Power-Data Converter. Each fixture is fully dimmable and controllable across four channels by default, and the integrated COLOR-STREAM® protocol ensures ultra-smooth performance with no visible flicker—even in high-speed video capture. The dimming engine includes 4,096 micro-steps per channel with configurable exponential curves that align with the human eye’s natural perception of brightness, and it operates silently across the full dimming range.
The FL25-GEN2-IM also supports long-distance installations thanks to GVA’s INFINITY® technology. Up to 158 fixtures can be daisy-chained on a single circuit with power-data through-wiring via sealed push-lock connectors. Leader and jumper cables can extend up to 100 meters (328 feet), providing maximum flexibility for large-scale projects. The luminaire is compatible with multiple input voltages including INF (380 V DC), ELV (48 V DC), and AC options ranging from 100 to 277 V AC. With a projected LED lifetime of over 50,000 hours at 25°C (L70 B50), the FL25-GEN2-IM delivers long-lasting, maintenance-friendly performance for professional architectural lighting applications.
