The STR9® LITE COLOR CHANGING is a powerful, high-performance linear LED wall washer and grazer designed for interior architectural lighting applications. As part of the broader STR9® series, this economically optimized indoor version offers the same superior light output and color consistency as its rugged outdoor counterparts. It supports a variety of color combinations—including RGBW30K, RGBA, and RGB—and features GVA’s world-class technologies such as UNIBODY™, INFINITY®, and COLOR-AMP® for advanced performance and versatility in demanding lighting designs.
The STR9® LITE is machined from a solid aluminum extrusion using UNIBODY™ technology, creating a seamless, rugged housing that eliminates the need for assembled parts or endcaps. While this indoor version is simplified for dry or damp environments (IP50 rated), it retains the high-performance optics and thermal durability the STR9® line is known for. Its optically clear tempered glass lens resists yellowing over time, and its IK06-rated body ensures mechanical durability. The fixture is compact and lightweight, measuring only 72 mm wide by 56 mm high and weighing just 1.0 kg per foot.
Engineered for precise color blending and high visual uniformity, STR9® LITE integrates 4-in-1 high-power LEDs per 300 mm segment. With COLOR-AMP® technology, it can deliver up to three times higher light output in specific color channels, producing up to 2,040 lumens per meter (626 lm/ft). Color mixing occurs within the optic and a diffusing film to produce consistent, homogenous light even immediately adjacent to the luminaire—ideal for wall grazing and washing applications where flawless color rendering is critical. LED pitch is precisely maintained both within and between luminaires, avoiding dark spots and ensuring seamless visual continuity. It’s also color-matched to the FL Series RGBW-IM for system-wide consistency.
Control is provided via DMX through GVA’s power-data equipment, and fixtures are individually addressable in 300 mm (1 ft) segments for fine-grained lighting control. The system supports through-wiring and plug-and-play connectivity with FL Series fixtures. Power is delivered via either INFINITY® (380VDC) for long continuous runs or ELV (48VDC) for short runs with remote power supplies. Available power levels include 10W, 15W, or 20W per foot.
Available in multiple lengths—300 mm, 343 mm, 600 mm, 900 mm, 1200 mm, and 1500 mm—the STR9® LITE accommodates a wide range of installation needs. Optical options range from narrow beams (12°) to wide and elliptical distributions (up to 80°), with a selection of adjustable and fixed mounting brackets and glare control accessories to fine-tune fixture positioning. The fixture operates in temperatures from 0°C to 50°C (32°F to 122°F) and has a projected lifetime of L70 > 65,000 hours at maximum rated ambient temperature.
