RGBMA LED Cyc Light for Smooth Cyclorama and Set Washing

The KL CYC S is a professional-grade RGBMA LED cyc light and footlight fixture designed to deliver smooth and even cyclorama, set, and wall washing applications. Its carefully engineered asymmetrical reflector ensures perfect color blends and efficient coverage of significant vertical surfaces. Thanks to its incredibly low-profile housing, the KL CYC S is also ideal for footlight positions, offering exceptional versatility for stage, film, television, and event lighting.

This fixture integrates seamlessly into existing setups or new designs with its magnetic alignment system and simple mounting bracket attachment. Thoughtful power and data wire management further streamline installation. The fanless design guarantees completely silent operation, an essential feature for noise-sensitive environments. Adjustable front feet allow for precise angle modifications when floor-mounted, and the inclusion of top and bottom barndoors enables perfect framing of light output along surfaces or prevents light overspill in footlight applications.

Equipped with Elation’s proven RGBMA color system, the KL CYC S delivers excellent color matching capabilities with other fixtures in the KL and Fuze product ranges. It provides calibrated color temperature control, green shift adjustment, and supports both CMY and RGB emulation modes, empowering designers to recall any desired color in up to two independent control segments. A notable innovation, the EdgeLight safety feature, lets users designate a red or blue safety light that can be manually activated or set to illuminate automatically if the DMX signal is lost, providing performers with a clear indication of the stage edge.

With a 90W RGBMA LED array producing 5,645 lumens of total fixture output (measured in an integrating sphere), the KL CYC S combines efficiency with excellent performance. Its asymmetrical reflector enhances light distribution, and the fixture includes replaceable lenses to accommodate different lighting needs. The unit supports flicker-free operation, making it suitable for TV and film applications. Control options include DMX, Art-Net, and sACN protocols, along with power and data passthrough capabilities.

The photometric data reveals a CRI of 96.5 and a TLCI of 88, underscoring the fixture’s high color rendering quality. Beam angles range from 25° x 75° without filters to 40° x 90° with filters, providing wide field coverage ideal for large surfaces. Variable 16-bit dimming curves and electronic dimmer and strobe effects enable sophisticated light control, while the fixture’s color control supports variable color temperature from 2,400K to 8,500K, green/magenta shift, and a virtual gel swatch book.

The KL CYC S offers 11 DMX channel modes and features a 4-button control panel with an LED display for easy standalone operation. RDM (Remote Device Management) is also supported. Connection options include 5-pin DMX In/Out, RJ45 locking Ethernet In/Out, and IP65 locking power cable connectors, making it robust and flexible for demanding environments.

Measuring 19.9 inches in length, 8.1 inches in width, and 3.4 inches in height, the fixture weighs 7.7 pounds, balancing portability with durability. It operates on AC 100-240V at 50/60Hz with a maximum power consumption of 100W and offers power-thru capacity for daisy chaining multiple units. The fixture is designed to operate efficiently across a temperature range of 5°F to 113°F (-15°C to 45°C).

Included accessories are an omega bracket, frost filter, barndoor, and an IP65 locking power cable. Optional accessories include a power DMX jumper cable (PDJ010). The KL CYC S carries CE, cETLus, FCC, and UKCA approvals, ensuring compliance with international safety and performance standards.
