Key features of ColourTune include:

✔ Color Tuning
Choose between Highest Output, Highest Fidelity, or a balanced blend of both to achieve optimal lighting performance tailored to any application. CCT and color settings adjust accordingly. When opting for Highest Output, the fixture prioritizes output intensity while maximizing color fidelity. Conversely, selecting Highest Fidelity prioritizes light quality while maximizing intensity. Balanced achieves the ideal blend of output and color fidelity.

✔ Output Balance
With the new Uniform setting, users can maintain consistent intensity across multiple fixtures of the same model and/or ensure closely matched CCT and colors for differing models sharing Elation's full-spectrum engine. The result is a more homogenous system. A Bright setting allows a fixture to output its brightest levels but sacrifices uniformity of color tone and CCT tolerances between fixtures.

✔ 16-bit CCT Control
Gain precise control over color temperature with 16-bit CCT control, allowing for minute adjustments of as little as 1-degree Kelvin for more accurate reproduction of desired lighting hues. Instantly recallable, such a fine level of CCT control provides unparalleled accuracy and is a vital tool for the high-precision needs of TV and film production. Furthermore, seamless color temperature crossfades that do not visibly step are possible anywhere along the 2400K to 8500K range.

✔ White Point Adjustment
Set a desired CCT value and then mix color from that white set point to achieve the perfect tone, with the flexibility to mix colors manually or select from a virtual swatch book. Adjust color saturation levels via the CCT channel and even match base point color temperature across incandescent and LED fixtures for more harmonious colors.

✔ Dim to Warm
Emulate the warm, natural glow of tungsten lamps by seamlessly fading color temperature as the fixture is dimmed. With 16-bit control, smooth color temperature fades that do not visibly step are possible anywhere along the range from 8,500K to 2,400K.

✔ Virtual Swatch Book Fade
Effortlessly fade between two virtual swatch book color selections for smooth transitions and dynamic lighting effects, with options to adjust pre-built swatch color points for greater color customization.

Mentele stresses that ColourTune is one of the most advanced fixture control softwares available, with feedback from the lighting design community driving its development. "Designers have been asking for greater color fidelity and more options in color and CCT control, and ColourTune is the result of that feedback. ColourTune, which can be activated or disabled as needed, not only enhances quality but also saves time when color uniformity across multiple fixtures is a must. ColourTune is available now on select Elation fixtures, including the FUZE TEATRO™, KL PAR FC™, KL PAR FC IP™, and SŌL I Blinder™, and will be implemented into all new full-spectrum fixtures moving forward. Updates for current Fuze and KL fixtures are currently in progress, ensuring that existing customers can benefit from this groundbreaking technology.

The KL SPOT IP™ is an IP65 static LED spot fixture designed for a wide array of precision lighting applications. The 92 CRI engine utilizes a 5-color homogenized LED array consisting of Red, Green, Blue, Mint, and Amber sources. The carefully tuned LEDs ensure accurate color reproduction while delivering a powerful output of over 10,000 lumens. Virtual color temperature, Magenta / Green adjustment provide the designer with immediate access to the impressive LED color array.

The KL SPOT IP is designed for any application where fully automated static ellipsoidal fixture with outstanding and impactful color range and a flexible zoom range is required. Proteus Radius™: Proteus Radius is a compact, high-intensity Beam FX fixture with IP65 rating. Utilizing an efficient 100W Solid State phosphor-converted light engine, the fixture projects narrow, intense beams with incredible power at long distances. Proteus Hybrid MAX™: Proteus Hybrid MAX is a compact IP65 hybrid fixture that seamlessly combines high output and extended lamp life. This upgraded big-brother of Elation’s ground-breaking Proteus Hybrid is equipped with the innovative Philips MSD Platinum FLEX 500 lamp, boasting a 550W rating and lamp life of up to 4,000 hours. The fixture incorporates CMY and linear CTO color correction, along with an extensive range of projection and effects choices. Emitting a brilliant 22,000 lumens through its spacious 170mm front aperture, the Proteus Hybrid MAX produces vividly potent beams, precise gobos, and vibrant washes, qualities that make it adaptable for nearly any application, all while delivering a remarkable return on investment.

Fuze Teatro: Fuze Teatro is designed for any application where a silent fully-automated framing fixture with outstanding and compelling color range and quality is required. The fixture is fanless for completely silent operation in noise sensitive environments. It houses a 480W RGBMA LED array with CRI of 91 and output of over 15000 lumens. Two rotating gobo wheels, animation wheel, dual frost, prism and iris round out its comprehensive feature set.

KL CYC: KL CYC is an ideal LED lighting solution for smooth and even cyclorama, set and wall washing applications. Housing an RGBMA color system, it utilizes a carefully crafted asymmetrical reflector design to achieve perfect blends while covering significant heights with ease. It is also an ideal choice for footlight positions, providing excellent versatility for stage, film, television and event lighting use. Seamless magnetic alignment, a simple mounting bracket attachment, and elegant power and data management make the KL CYC a breeze to integrate.

KL Profile FC: KL Profile FC is a manual ellipsoidal framing fixture with 305W RGBMA LED engine designed for a wide array of precision lighting applications. With a 7 to 50-degree zoom, the fixture requires no additional lens tubes, reducing cost, complexity and providing excellent flexibility for any theater or performance venue. Included is a 16-bit rotating gobo slot and full blackout framing system with a Fresnel wash conversion kit available as an option. Output exceeds 10,000 lumens.

KL Spot IP™: The IP65-rated KL Spot IP™ is a fully automated static ellipsoidal fixture with zoom and the ideal complement to the KL Profile FC™. With a 7 to 50-degree zoom, the fixture requires no additional lens tubes, reducing cost, complexity and providing excellent flexibility for any venue.
