The Mosaico FX100 is a robust, IP66-rated image projector featuring a 100W high-power white LED source with a color temperature of 8000K. Designed as a modular platform for architectural lighting creativity, the FX100 delivers flexibility and high-definition projection through its support for interchangeable optics and multiple dynamic effects. With beam angles of 15°, 30°, 50°, and 70°, each optic is optimized for either image projection or animated lighting, offering luminous outputs ranging from 2,217 to 3,646 lumens and lux values up to 1,612 lx at 5 meters.
A standout feature of the Mosaico FX100 is its dual structured-glass animation wheels, which enable stunning effects such as flowing water, flickering fire, or northern lights. These are motorized with linear control for seamless transitions and can be complemented by one static gobo holder and a color holder, both featuring magnetic mounting for easy handling. The unit is also compatible with additional optional accessories, such as a fixed gobo wheel or color wheel, to expand creative possibilities.
Control options include both wired and wireless DMX512 protocols, along with RDM, CRMX, and W-DMX compatibility via an integrated LumenRadio Timo FX module. Onboard control is available through a 3-push encoder interface for standalone operation. The projector supports 8 DMX channels and master/slave configurations, making it ideal for synchronized multi-fixture setups. Firmware updates are handled via DMX using compatible USB-DMX interfaces, while settings and monitoring can be performed remotely through RDM or the optional DATAMASTER external coder.
The FX100 is built for durability and long-term performance in harsh environments. Its weatherproof construction includes an inspectable cover window for fast gobo and effect wheel changes. It operates reliably in temperatures ranging from -20°C to +45°C, with active cooling for silent operation and flicker-free LED control using adjustable PWM from 600 to 25,000 Hz. The projector's electrical specifications include a universal 100–240V power input, a maximum power draw of 127W, a low 7W standby mode, and support for linking up to 15 units on a single 230V power line.
Physically, the Mosaico FX100 measures 224 x 261 x 221 mm and weighs just 5.7 kg. It includes both XLR and bare-end 16A adaptors, with molded IP-rated signal and power IN/OUT connectors. Suspension and positioning are handled by an included bracket. The fixture meets CE, UKCA, and RCM certifications, offering reliable, high-quality performance for permanent outdoor installations, architectural features, or artistic lighting displays.
