The STR9®W is a high-performance monochromatic linear LED luminaire designed specifically for wall washing and grazing applications in demanding outdoor environments. Engineered to excel in transportation infrastructure projects such as bridges and overpasses, the fixture offers superior durability, excellent LED color consistency, and exceptional mechanical resilience. With a compact profile measuring just 1,206 mm (47.5 in) in length, 50 mm (2.0 in) in width, and 68 mm (2.7 in) in height, it integrates seamlessly into architectural structures while providing up to 6,600 lumens per meter (2,000 lumens per foot) of uniform illumination.
Built with an extruded and machined aluminum body finished in either clear matte or black matte anodized coating, the STR9®W delivers excellent thermal performance and corrosion resistance, meeting AMMA 611 Class 1 standards and matching AMMA 2604 powder coating—ideal for 5-year exposure in harsh conditions such as those found in South Florida. Its 4 mm optically clear tempered glass lens ensures long-term optical clarity without yellowing, and the proprietary sealing process secures an IP66 rating for reliable operation in dry, damp, or wet locations, including environments with 0–100% humidity. The luminaire also meets the 3G ANSI C136.31-2010 vibration standard, making it suitable for bridge and overpass applications.
The fixture features eight high-power LEDs per foot (300 mm) with three-step MacAdam ellipse color consistency and a CRI of 80 or higher. A wide range of CCTs and colors are available, including 2200K to 6500K and monochromatic options like amber (AM), red (RD), green (GR), blue (BL), and royal blue (RB). Beam angle options include symmetrical distributions from 10° to 80° as well as elliptical configurations such as 10°x30°, 10°x60°, and 30°x60°, enabling tailored lighting for diverse architectural needs.
Available in 10W, 15W, 20W, and 25W power configurations per foot, the STR9®W operates on 120–277VAC and features integrated Class 2 LED drivers. It supports 0–10V dimming for smooth control and is designed for long-lasting performance with a projected lifetime exceeding 150,000 hours (L70 at 25°C). A 5-pin IP68-rated snap-in input connector ensures secure and weatherproof connections, and optional mounting brackets are available for simplified installation.
