Each OSRAM LEDriving headlight unit features a complete LED configuration, including LED position light, low beam, high beam, daytime running light, and turn indicators. With advanced high-performance LEDs, they offer up to 200% more light and up to 100% whiter light compared to conventional halogen headlights, providing a powerful beam that can reach up to 200 meters. Modern light guide technology combined with high-quality diffuser materials ensures uniform, pixel-free illumination, significantly improving both driver visibility and the vehicle’s presence on the road. This results in enhanced safety during nighttime and adverse weather conditions. OSRAM backs the product with a 2-year guarantee.
Installation is straightforward, thanks to Plug & Play technology that eliminates the need for modifications or damage to existing cables. Designed for ECE compliance, the headlights meet regulatory standards including ECE R6, R7, R10, R48, R87, and R112. This ensures that no additional registration is required in the vehicle’s documentation after installation, simplifying the upgrade process while maintaining legal road use.
Built to withstand harsh conditions, the LEDriving headlights have undergone rigorous testing in OSRAM’s DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025-certified environmental simulation lab. They are validated to IP69K standards, offering exceptional protection against water, dust, temperature extremes, UV exposure, and mechanical vibrations or shocks.
These headlights are compatible with BMW 1 Series F20/F21 pre-facelift models originally equipped with halogen headlights, but are not suitable for models with xenon systems. With a nominal voltage of 12 V and a test voltage of 13.2 V, the units emit a color temperature of 6500 K—providing a crisp, daylight-like appearance. Each headlight measures 460 mm in width, 245 mm in height, and 425 mm in length, with a product weight of 7500 g.
