The EL series supports both the A–Series and T–Series optical modules, each offering different performance profiles. The A–Series enables current feeds between 200 and 600 mA and delivers up to 45,500 lumens, depending on ambient temperature. It supports a broad range of color temperatures—from 2,200 K to 5,700 K—and CRI levels up to 80 or even 90 upon request. In addition to its high performance, the A–Series supports advanced features such as constant lumen output (CLO), AC/DC emergency supply options, and compatibility with DALI, 1–10 V interfaces, Line Switch, and standalone programming. Smart lighting capabilities are integrated or accessible via an external Zhaga interface, allowing for dynamic control and city-wide smart lighting integration.
The T–Series offers a more targeted solution with a maximum current feed of 225 mA and luminous flux up to 2,700 lumens. It features tunable white lighting from 2,200 K to 6,500 K, CRI ≥ 80 (or ≥ 90 on request), and operates with a DALI T8 interface. This series emphasizes visual comfort, especially when paired with ewoLightTile technology, which ensures high-quality illumination even when light is emitted vertically.
All EL housings are built to last, featuring aluminum construction with a low copper content (≤ 0.08%) and the option of enhanced corrosion protection through ewoECP. The fixtures also benefit from ewo’s modular system, with the A–Series alone enabling over 1.7 billion lens combinations for customized beam shaping. Additional flexibility is provided through ewoLightLayers, allowing further light customization to suit specific project requirements.
