In overload conditions, the total output current is scaled down sequentially across all channels to maintain operation within the maximum rated power.
Additional safeguards include reverse polarity protection, preventing damage to the driver in case of incorrect wiring. An external NTC thermistor can also be connected via LEDcode/NTC terminals, allowing real-time thermal feedback from the LED board. When the NTC detects temperatures above the configured limit—typically 70°C by default—the driver reduces LED output by 75% to protect system components.
