The aEmpress LED path light is a refined area luminaire available in either 1LED or 3LED configurations, with an optional RGBW version compatible with Luxor ZDClink® Controllers for advanced zoning, dimming, and color control. Offering total lumen output ranging from 51 to 210 lumens, this fixture consumes between 2.2 and 7.2 watts of power and operates on low-voltage input—10–15 Vac/dc for white models and 11–15 Vac/dc for RGBW variants. The luminaire includes an integral driver and utilizes high-quality Lumileds® LEDs for white output and Cree® LEDs for RGBW functionality. Designed for downward illumination only, the aEmpress delivers a long operating life of up to 72,000 hours for white models and 55,000 hours for RGBW.
Engineered with precision and durability in mind, the aEmpress features either machined C360 brass and spun C110 copper construction or die-cast A380 aluminum components. The riser is extruded copper with press-fit brass fittings applied at over 2,000 pounds of pressure to eliminate the need for adhesives or mechanical fasteners. Finishes include natural metal, antiqued bronze or tumbled effects, and TGIC powder-coat options—all tested to ASTM outdoor durability standards. Antique finishes are sealed with a clear TGIC layer for added protection, while brass accents remain uncoated to preserve their natural patina.
Installation is straightforward, with each fixture shipping with a ProAim™ Adjustable Ratcheting Stake (PARS), a 10-inch ABS stake that features tamper-resistant attributes. The fixture includes a 10-foot lead wire of 18 AWG SPT-1W, rated for 220°F and 300 V. The MicroAntileach™ socket design prevents moisture intrusion, enhancing longevity in harsh environments. The frosted polycarbonate lens offers excellent shock resistance and thermal tolerance.
Rated IP65, the aEmpress is approved for use in dry, damp, and wet locations. It meets UL 1838 standards and is compliant with IEC 60598-1 and IEC 60598-2-4 when used with IP65-rated ground or alternate mounts. This luminaire is dark-sky compliant when configured with a 3,000K or lower light source and is certified wildlife-friendly (3LEDT model) by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. With a BUG rating of B0-U0-G0 and a wide operating temperature range from 0°F to 140°F (-18°C to 60°C), the aEmpress is a robust, energy-efficient solution for upscale landscape and pathway lighting.
