The aCount aCOT LED Path Light is a refined and durable outdoor luminaire engineered for performance and aesthetics in landscape applications. Designed exclusively for downward lighting installations, it’s available in 1 or 3 LED configurations and also offers an RGBW variant compatible with ZDClink® Controllers, allowing dynamic control options.
With a total light output of 166 lumens and power consumption ranging from 2.2 W to 7.2 W depending on configuration, the aCount operates at low voltage—10–15 Vac/dc for white LEDs and 11–15 Vac for RGBW options. It requires a remote transformer and features an integral driver for simplified configuration. The luminaire uses high-quality LED technology, with white options powered by Lumileds® and RGBW models utilizing Cree® LEDs.
Thermal performance is optimized with CoolDrive™ onboard monitoring and control. The typical LED lifetime exceeds 72,000 hours for white light and 55,000 hours for RGBW, based on TM21 projections (L70, B10). Dimming capabilities include Luxor® zoning and dimming control, or trailing-edge dimmers for tailored output. The standard fixture is zoneable, while ZD and ZDC models enable precise zoning, dimming, and access to more than 30,000 color possibilities through RGBW tuning.
Built for long-term durability, the aCount is crafted with either a machined C360 brass cap and reducer paired with a spun C110 copper top and extruded riser, or with die-cast A380 aluminum components. These are available in various finishes—including natural metal, brushed or tumbled antique bronze, or weather-resistant polyester TGIC powder coat—all tested to ASTM standards for superior environmental performance. Antique finishes are sealed with a clear powder coat layer, and brass elements remain natural in powder-coated versions.
This luminaire is rated IP65, ensuring it’s suitable for dry, damp, or wet environments. The fixture complies with UL 1838 and international standards IEC 60598-1 and IEC 60598-2-4 when installed with IP65 or higher-rated ground mounts. It also meets wildlife-friendly lighting criteria when configured with the 3LEDT option, certified by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, and offers dark-sky compliance with 3,000K or lower color temperatures.
Each unit includes a ProAim™ Adjustable Ratcheting Stake (PARS) for secure installation. This 10-inch ABS stake features tamper-resistant elements. The fixture also includes a 10-foot (3 m), 18 AWG lead with MicroAntiLeach™ technology to prevent moisture intrusion. The lens is constructed of shock-resistant polycarbonate with a frosted finish, allowing excellent resistance to thermal stress while providing a soft light diffusion. A ¾" (19 mm) copper riser with press-fit brass fittings, inserted under over 2,000 lbs of pressure, ensures a secure and adhesive-free assembly.
