Now in its fourth generation, the R–System family represents a powerful evolution in large-area lighting, combining proven reliability with enhanced performance. With upgraded lenses and advanced drivers, the R–System has been refined into a highly modular, compact, and flexible luminaire family that continues to meet the changing demands of the lighting market.
Engineered for versatility, the R–System is ideally suited to illuminate vast outdoor environments such as airports, harbors, expansive parking areas, and sports fields. Offering luminous flux levels of up to 250,000 lumens and a broad selection of symmetrical and asymmetrical A–Series optics, the system provides precise and powerful illumination tailored to diverse application needs.
Constructed for long-term use in challenging environments, the R–System features an IP66 and IK10-rated housing with low copper content (less than 0.08%), ensuring durability, corrosion resistance, and longevity. Its robust construction and thermal management system make it a future-proof investment for infrastructure-scale projects.
The R–System is also among the first floodlight families to be officially “DarkSky Approved.” Even when mounted at 0° tilt, it delivers exceptional uniformity precisely where light is needed, without contributing to skyglow or light spill. This makes it a responsible and sustainable solution for preserving the night sky in both urban and remote areas.
The system supports multiple configurations to meet specific performance requirements, including three beam-angle variants—R1 for up to 70,000 lumens, R2 for 125,000 to 175,000 lumens, and R4 for a maximum output of 250,000 lumens. It is available in a range of color temperatures, including 3,000 K, 4,000 K, and 5,700 K, with CRI ratings of 70, 80, and 90 depending on the model. Other combinations of CCT, CRI, and TLCI are available upon request to suit various lighting standards and visual needs.
Control flexibility is a key strength of the R–System. The luminaire supports switchable operation, DALI, 0–10 V (on R2 and R4 models), and DMX. It can be integrated into smart lighting networks via internal or external nodes, enabling group or individual control. This makes the R–System not only a high-performance lighting solution, but also a future-ready platform for intelligent infrastructure.
