Install-From-Below LED Linear Light for T-Grid and Drywall Ceilings

Click is a breakthrough result of the exclusive Axis-Armstrong® innovation partnership, introducing the first true install-from-below shallow luminaire. Purpose-built for today’s compact ceiling conditions, Click is engineered to solve the challenges posed by shallow plenums and complex ceiling integrations. With a depth of just 1 9/16", this ultra-thin luminaire eliminates conflicts with AC ducts, structural elements, and other obstructions often found in the ceiling cavity, while delivering exceptional lighting performance and design flexibility.

Designed for easy installation and maintenance, Click provides full access from below the ceiling, allowing luminaires to be installed after the ceiling is closed. This dramatically simplifies project sequencing and reduces labor costs. The fixture’s patent-pending InstaJoiner™ system streamlines assembly using fast, single-screw tightening, ensuring solid, seamless connections free of light leaks. Whether installed in continuous or standalone configurations, Click delivers consistent, uniform illumination with a refined center-of-T alignment, supporting a clean and integrated architectural finish.

Click is fully compatible with Armstrong’s suite of on-center ceiling systems, including Interlude®, Silhouette®, 9/16” Suprafine®, and 4” TechZone®, and is also suitable for use with Armstrong’s drywall linear lighting trim kits and Axiom® Direct Light Coves. The Zero Plenum Lighting Connector Bracket (LCB4) from Armstrong enables center-of-T esthetics with install-from-below convenience.

Constructed with a precision-extruded aluminum housing containing up to 70% recycled content, Click also features a spotless frosted acrylic lens and white powder-coated sheet steel reflectors for enhanced efficiency and glare control. Mounting options include die-formed brackets and flanges for compatibility with various ceiling types, including closed grid and drywall applications. Click systems are designed for modularity, with standard lengths of 4', 8', and 12', as well as custom lengths, supporting seamless linear runs using Axis’ quick-connect system. For runs over 12', the fixture is delivered as a system (S#), assembled on site using interlocking components.

Click luminaires support a wide range of driver and control options, including Lutron Hi-lume 1% EcoSystem with Soft-on, Fade-to-Black, DALI, DMX, Xitanium SR for wireless sensors, and Power over Ethernet (PoE) configurations. UL2108 certification covers both integral and remote driver options, and the system is also compatible with smart lighting platforms like MOLEX, IGOR, and SMARTENGINE. An integral emergency battery pack or emergency circuit is available as an option.

Engineered for quality, Click offers CRI options of 80 or 90, and a wide CCT selection of 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, and 4000K with 3-step MacAdam ellipse consistency both within and across fixtures. With a minimum LED lifespan of 50,000 hours at 85% lumen maintenance in 25°C ambient environments, Click meets rigorous performance standards in compliance with IES LM-80 testing. Its thermal management system uses the aluminum housing as an efficient heat sink, ensuring long-term reliability. Click is dry and damp rated for indoor use in ambient conditions ranging from 32°F to 104°F (0°C to 40°C), and it meets multiple safety standards, including UL, CSA, NYC, and Chicago Plenum (CCEC) requirements. It is also IC rated for insulated ceilings.

Axis' patent-pending optics contribute to a highly refined light presentation, eliminating visible diodes and maintaining hairline joints between segments for a seamless aesthetic. Whether in Armstrong acoustical ceiling systems, direct light coves, or drywall applications, Click is the go-to solution for plenum-constrained lighting designs, offering an unrivaled combination of performance, flexibility, and simplicity.
