The STR9® Inground Mono is a high-performance, monochromatic linear LED luminaire designed for inground wall washing and grazing applications. Built with reliability and precision in mind, this fixture features a full glass top and an advanced glare control system that delivers clean, controlled illumination while maintaining visual comfort. Offering up to 3755 lumens per meter (1144 lumens per foot), it ensures superior white light performance with excellent LED-to-LED color consistency. A diffusing optical film enhances the output, producing a smooth and uniform wash of light immediately adjacent to the luminaire.
Mechanically, the STR9® Inground Mono is built for long-term durability and architectural integration. Its trimless design incorporates a stainless steel top frame and an aluminum body for optimal thermal performance. With a compact profile measuring just 77 mm (3.03 inches) wide and 108 mm (4.2 inches) high, it fits discreetly into a wide variety of outdoor environments. The fixture is IP68-rated thanks to GVA’s proprietary sealing process and its robust extruded anodized aluminum UNIBODY™ construction. Every unit undergoes an electronic micro leak detection test to ensure a hermetically sealed enclosure. Additionally, it meets the ANSI C136.31-2010 3G vibration standard, making it ideal for bridge and overpass applications, and features a 10 mm thick optically clear tempered glass lens rated IK10, which resists yellowing and mechanical impact over time.
The STR9® Inground Mono supports a range of control protocols, including DMX, DALI, and 0-10V, all through GVA’s integrated power-data equipment. It offers 300 mm resolution with individually addressable sections and self-addressing capability, making it suitable for precision lighting scenarios. The fixture is available in two construction formats: IG-BOX, which combines a stainless steel top frame fastened to an aluminum channel, and IG-POD, which features GVA’s time-proven UNIBODY™ housing machined from solid aluminum for maximum protection and durability.
