The MICRO RING flush mount LED ceiling light features a super slim profile and is available in five diameters ranging from 2 feet to 6 feet. It is designed to create sizable cascaded circular arrangements on ceilings or walls, making it ideal for impactful architectural lighting. The ring emits direct light and can be coordinated with four other emission options within the MICRO RING family, allowing for the creation of unique and dynamic lighting effects. Its buoyant and energetic design makes the MICRO RING just as striking as a standalone piece. For a more whimsical and playful aesthetic, the MICRO RING can be combined with other shapes in the family, such as MICRO TRIANGLE or MICRO QUAD.
Constructed from aluminum, the fixture’s body and trim are finished with a durable powder coating to ensure longevity and aesthetic appeal. The MICRO RING integrates seamlessly into modern data networks through Power over Ethernet (PoE) connectivity, enhancing its functionality and ease of control. Sensor compatibility is available upon consultation with the factory to tailor the lighting system to specific needs.
A remote emergency lighting option provides a 1.5-hour (3 hours for EU) emergency illumination facility. This system includes an inverter module, NiCad batteries, and a remote wall or ceiling-mounted LED charge indicator with a test switch, available for North America only. The maximum distance between the wall or ceiling plate and the luminaire is 15 feet (4.5 meters), and the test switch fits a single gang box, which is not supplied.
The MICRO RING uses remote, high power factor (HPF) electronic drivers suitable for 120-277V (EU-240V) dimming. Depending on wire gauge, drivers can be mounted up to 40 feet (12.2 meters) with 18 AWG, 60 feet (18.3 meters) with 16 AWG, and 90 feet (27.4 meters) with 14 AWG wiring. These drivers must remain accessible after installation for maintenance and servicing.
The delivered lumens and lumens per watt (LPW) ratings are based on a 4000K color temperature with a minimum CRI of 80, ensuring bright, natural light output. The diffuser includes a slightly protruding lens measuring 0.08 inches (2.1mm), contributing to the fixture’s clean and modern look. The MICRO RING offers a reported L70 lifetime of over 60,000 hours at 25°C (77°F), demonstrating excellent longevity. Additionally, it carries a damp rating, making it suitable for environments with moisture exposure.
