FUNCTION AND CONTROL
1,LUX : the light sensitivity adjustment allows you to easily set the light so that it won’t
go on during day light.
2,TIME: adjust the infrared motion sensor’s Shut-off time. Light will remain on for the set
time from 10 seconds to 4 minutes interval after last move-ment is detected.
3,Sens: Adjust the sensitivity.
INSTALLATION
WARNING: INSTALLATION MUST BE DONE BY A QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN
Warning: The installation of the outdoor infrared motion sensor requires work with high-voltage wiring. Installation must follow local building codes as well as the instruction contained in this manual. Light bulbs are not included.
OPEATION
After installation. The motion sensor light is controlled by the same switch which originally controlled the light fixture.
1, Turn the “TIME” control to minimum(-) and the “LUX” control to maximum(+).
2, Walk in front of the sensor until the light comes on . this checks the operation of the sensor. Once the light
somes on move to a new position and stand still until the light goes out(appeox 10 secs) move again until the light comes on.
3, Adjustments
The sensor has an adjustable “TIME ON” control from 10 seconds minimum to a maximum of 4 minutes(approx.). Timer starts working after the last movement is detected. While there is movements from a heat source in the detecting area the light will remain on and the time will keep resetting.
The “SENS” can adjust the sensiticity and light can adjust as you want.
The lux adjustment controls the light level at which the unit will switch on the light when movements is sensed. If set to the “+” end it will switch during day light. If set to the “-“ end it will operate only the total darkness. Ideally it should be set at dusk or in the light conditions under which the sensor and lights are expected to operate.
