This emergency lighting LED driver is designed for self-contained emergency lighting systems, supporting LED modules with a forward voltage range of 10–54 V. The device operates in SELV mode with an output voltage below 60 V DC and is compatible with Tridonic LLE FLEX modules in ADV and EXC variants. The driver features strain relief for secure connections and operates in non-maintained mode with a nominal lifetime of up to 100,000 hours. It incorporates a DALI-2 interface for controlled testing, monitoring, and automatic self-test functionality, ensuring reliable operation and compliance with industry standards.

The emergency LED driver provides a three-hour rated duration and constant power output, with automatic shutdown if the connected LED load falls outside the specified range. Two-colour status LEDs indicate operational status, while the integrated electronic charge system manages battery performance and safety. Battery protection includes deep discharge protection, short-circuit-proof connections, and polarity reversal protection through a three-pole connector. High-temperature LiFePO4 cells, including 18650 formats, are supported, offering a design life of four to eight years. Tridonic LiFeGuard ensures battery safety and long-term reliability, and the driver is compatible with most constant current LED drivers as specified in the product data sheet.

The three-pole technology allows for two-pole LED module changeover and delayed power switching for the LED driver, simplifying installation and maintenance. Self-test functionality includes checks on battery status, LED status, function tests, and duration tests. Functional tests are executed weekly for five seconds, while duration tests occur annually for three hours to verify emergency performance. The device supports up to 100 emergency units in rest mode, with a maximum wiring distance of 1,000 meters.

Electrical specifications include a rated supply voltage of 220–240 V AC with a mains frequency of 50/60 Hz and an AC voltage range of 198–264 V. Overvoltage protection withstands up to 320 V for 48 hours. The output current is defined in the EM converterLED BASIC data sheet, with a maximum open circuit voltage of 60 V. Starting time from detection of an emergency event is less than 0.5 seconds. Surge protection includes 1 kV between line and neutral, and 2 kV between line/neutral and protective earth. The mains voltage changeover threshold complies with EN 60598-2-22. The product is backed by a five-year guarantee, ensuring long-term reliability for self-contained emergency lighting applications in commercial, office, and public environments.
