The self-contained emergency LED driver is specifically developed for manual testing applications and is suitable for integration with LED modules having a forward voltage range of 48 to 250 V. Its low-profile casing, with a cross-section of 21 by 30 mm, allows seamless installation into luminaires while maintaining a compact design. This driver is intended for self-contained emergency lighting systems and operates in a non-maintained mode, ensuring safety even when the main power supply is interrupted. It supports rated durations of one or three hours, with operating time selectable via a plug-based duration link.

Compatibility extends to all dimmable and non-dimmable constant current LED drivers, providing flexibility across a wide range of lighting installations. The driver utilizes 3-pole technology, which enables a two-pole LED module changeover and delayed power switching for the LED driver, ensuring uninterrupted and stable performance. Automatic shutdown of the output occurs if the connected LED load is out of range, and the system delivers constant power output to guarantee maximum light output from all connected LED modules. An integrated electronic charge system manages battery health, while deep discharge protection, short-circuit-proof battery connections, and polarity reversal protection via the 3-pole connector enhance safety and reliability.

The emergency LED driver operates with high-temperature LiFePO4 batteries, incorporating Tridonic LiFeGuard for extended safety and durability. The batteries are supplied in 26650 cell format, capable of withstanding harsh operating conditions while ensuring long-term performance. The driver is rated for a supply voltage of 220–240 V with an AC voltage range of 198–264 V and operates at a mains frequency of 50/60 Hz. Overvoltage protection up to 320 V for 48 hours safeguards the system, and the maximum output voltage reaches 290 V, with surge protection of 1 kV between L–N and 2 kV between L/N–PE. Battery charging is completed within 24 hours, while ambient operating temperatures range from –25 to 55 °C and maximum casing temperature reaches 80 °C.

With a nominal lifetime of up to 100,000 hours and IP20 protection class, this emergency LED driver is suitable for long-term luminaire installations. The system is backed by a five-year guarantee, making it a reliable solution for safe, high-performance emergency lighting applications in commercial, industrial, and public environments.
