The FL50-GEN2-DWT-IM is a next-generation dynamic white flood and spot luminaire designed for architectural lighting applications such as wall washing, grazing, and focused illumination. As part of GVA’s FL product series, it leverages the award-winning COLOR-STREAM® platform to deliver communication speeds up to 16 times faster than DMX, along with exceptionally smooth dimming and seamless color transitions. With advanced in-optic light mixing and COLOR-AMP® technology, the fixture offers superior light uniformity and can produce up to three times the output of traditional multichannel luminaires.
The fixture features 12 quadchip LEDs that enable a broad correlated color temperature (CCT) range from 2200K to 6500K. It is configured as a two-channel luminaire—one for brightness and one for CCT control—delivering up to 2,950 lumens per channel. The optical system supports narrow beam angles starting from 10°, allowing for precision in architectural applications. The COLOR-STREAM® platform supports high-speed data transmission at 6.25 Mbps, a refresh rate of up to 120 frames per second, and 12-bit dimming resolution, all of which combine to ensure fluid, flicker-free performance.
The FL50-GEN2-DWT-IM is designed for scalability, supporting up to 79 fixtures in a single continuous run when powered via GVA’s INFINITY® technology. It supports leader and jumper cables up to 100 meters (328 feet) and features sealed push-lock connectors for reliable power and data through-wiring. The luminaire is housed in a compact, diecast aluminum enclosure measuring 228 mm x 251 mm x 84 mm (9.0 in x 9.9 in x 3.3 in), and it weighs just 4.5 kg (9.9 lbs). AAMA 2604-compliant powder coating ensures high durability in outdoor environments.
This IP66-rated fixture operates reliably in extreme temperatures ranging from -40°C to +50°C (-40°F to +122°F) and is built to withstand harsh environments including dry, damp, or wet locations with 0–100% humidity. It complies with ANSI C136.31-2018 vibration standards for bridge and overpass applications and incorporates progressive thermal protection. Control options include Art-Net 4, sACN, DMX-512A, and DALI / DALI 2 via GVA’s PDC-GEN5 Power-Data Equipment. With a projected lifetime of over 60,000 hours at 50°C, the FL50-GEN2-DWT-IM provides long-term performance and reliability backed by a 5-year limited warranty.
