The LED emergency driver is a versatile and compact solution designed for self-contained emergency lighting systems. It functions as a dimmable built-in LED driver and includes an integrated emergency lighting unit with automatic self-test functionality. The unit is suitable for LED modules with a forward voltage range of 20 to 50 V and provides SELV-compliant output voltages below 60 V DC. Housed in a compact plastic casing, the driver combines durability with flexible installation options, making it ideal for modern indoor emergency lighting applications.

The driver delivers constant current operation with output currents ranging from 300 to 1,400 mA during mains operation. Adjustments in 25 mA increments can be made using the I-SELECT 2 PLUG, allowing precise adaptation to various LED modules. Emergency operation is supported for durations of one, two, or three hours, selectable via a simple two-way dip switch. The unit automatically shuts down output if the LED forward voltage falls outside the defined range, protecting the connected light modules. Emergency operation starts in under 0.5 seconds following detection of a power failure, delivering an output current with a tolerance of ±7% and a low-frequency ripple of less than 2% below 120 Hz. The maximum open circuit voltage is 60 V, and the mains voltage changeover complies with EN 60598-2-22 standards. The driver operates within ambient temperatures from –5 to 50 °C for units up to 40 W and –5 to 45 °C for higher-power units, with a maximum casing temperature of 75 °C.

Physically, the driver is rated IP20 for indoor use and has a guaranteed operational lifetime of up to 50,000 hours. A five-year warranty reinforces its reliability and suitability for continuous emergency lighting applications in commercial, institutional, and public buildings.
