The LED emergency module is a compact, self-contained unit specifically developed for surface-mounted installation, offering a complete and ready-to-use emergency lighting solution. Each module integrates high-quality LED electronics, a precision-engineered heat sink, an optical system, and a long-life battery, ensuring dependable operation in critical situations. It is available as a full set that simplifies the emergency lighting setup process while maintaining compliance with the latest safety and performance standards.

A distinctive feature of this emergency module is its click-in multi-lens system, which allows the selection of different optical distributions suited for specific emergency lighting needs. The available lens options enable anti-panic area coverage, escape route guidance, or spot-focused illumination, ensuring optimal light distribution for various environments. Each configuration guarantees consistent performance, achieving a luminous flux output of 400 lumens with high visual uniformity and minimal glare. The integrated self-test function ensures regular automatic testing of system integrity, reducing the need for manual inspections and improving maintenance efficiency.

The system is BESA-compatible for mounting, allowing easy installation across a wide range of surface-mounted applications. It is available in non-maintained versions, activating automatically only in the event of a power failure to ensure energy efficiency during standby. Variants are offered for 1-hour or 3-hour rated operation durations, catering to differing regulatory or project-specific requirements. The Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO₄) battery connects easily using a plug-in system, providing long service life and enhanced safety, while keeping installation simple and tool-free.

The design ensures a very low standby power loss and includes built-in overvoltage protection rated up to 320 V for 48 hours, guaranteeing reliability even in fluctuating electrical environments. The module operates within an input voltage range of 198–254 V AC (performance tolerance) and 198–264 V AC (safety tolerance), at a mains frequency of 50/60 Hz, supporting stable function under varied supply conditions.

The LED emergency unit transitions to emergency mode in less than 0.5 seconds after detecting a mains failure, ensuring immediate lighting activation. It maintains precise performance through an output current tolerance of ±5% and a low-frequency ripple below ±5%, meeting the requirements of EN 60598-2-22 standards for emergency luminaires. Its rated operating temperature range from +5 °C to +40 °C allows deployment in a broad variety of indoor environments.

With a type of protection rating of IP20 and an impact resistance of IK07, the unit is suited for interior commercial and institutional applications requiring durable and dependable emergency lighting. Classified as Protection Class II, it ensures double insulation safety without requiring a protective earth connection. The LED module emits a neutral white light at 6,500 K, with a color tolerance within 3 SDCM and a color rendering index (CRI) above 80, ensuring adequate visibility and color differentiation during emergencies.

The LED emergency module achieves a service life of up to 50,000 hours, representing a long-term, low-maintenance emergency lighting solution that guarantees safety, visual performance, and reliability in compliance with modern emergency lighting standards.
