They are constructed from high-quality materials, including mild sheet steel frames painted in white (RAL9016), galvanised steel backs, and UV-stabilized diffusers in PMMA or polycarbonate depending on the optic type. The CKIT and CKIT+ modules are also made from UV-stabilized polycarbonate, ensuring durability and ease of maintenance. Installation is straightforward, whether laying into T-grid ceilings, fitting into concealed or plasterboard ceilings using separately ordered accessories, or suspending via adjustable wire systems.
In terms of specification, Omega Pro 2 is a shallow, edge-lit panel that provides versatile lighting solutions for various ceiling types and mounting options. The panels are available with three optic options: Opal (UGR<22), Prismatic MPT (UGR<19, Glare proTech), and the dynamic HX pattern (UGR<19). All options meet DSE requirements in accordance with EN12464 standards. Colour temperature options include fixed 3000K or 4000K at CRI80, tunable 3000K, 4000K, or 6500K, and Variable Colour Temperature from 2700K to 6500K at CRI90. Panels can be configured with LOOP in/LOOP out connections or prewired with a 2.5-meter mains lead and compatible T-plugs (Wieland, Wago, Ensto).
The CKIT module equips Omega Pro 2 panels with plug-and-play connectivity, enabling quick, tool-free mechanical and electrical integration of wireless nodes or emergency functionality.
