The updated Glacier II LED range provides designers and specifiers with new decorative choices, including both the body and reflector available in sleek black, making it easier to coordinate with the wider Thorn retail lighting portfolio. Complementing the original large-size model, a smaller version with a diameter of 254mm has been introduced, ideal for over-counter lighting, retail shop displays, and other compact applications. The integrated chip-on-board LED technology ensures smooth, uniform illumination without visible shadows on the reflector, providing a professional and consistent lighting effect.
Performance has also advanced significantly in this latest iteration of Glacier II LED. Luminous efficacy has increased by up to 20%, achieving values of up to 119lm/W, ensuring substantial energy savings compared to traditional HID pendants while also extending lifetime and reducing maintenance costs. The luminaire is suspended using a 2.5m adjustable quick-lock single wire suspension, with a pre-installed flame-retardant braided silicon cable, ensuring straightforward installation.
