Axyl Etch is a compact and elegant square wall light specifically engineered for window reveal and arch lighting applications. Designed to accentuate architectural features, this miniature form-factor LED luminaire is ideal for illuminating window frames, arches, and other apertures of any size, providing an intense visual impact with minimal energy consumption. Its high-performance optics produce a narrow 170° by 10° beam, allowing it to highlight angles, curves, and depth on building façades, creating a striking visual effect that is perfect for residential, public, historic, and artistic environments. Axyl Etch is available with an integrated Non-Dimmable (On/Off) driver or a separate remote DALI-2 driver for enhanced lighting control and flexibility.
The luminaire is offered in four standard colours—grey, anthracite, black, and white—enabling seamless integration with a variety of architectural styles. It is available in colour temperatures of 2700K, 3000K, and 4000K, all with a CRI of 80 to ensure natural and accurate color rendering. The die-cast aluminium housing is finished with a double powder paint process for durability, complemented by a clear polycarbonate diffuser and silicone gaskets. With corrosion resistance suitable for C3 environments and robust protection rated to IP65 and IK10, Axyl Etch is designed to withstand the demands of outdoor installations while maintaining visual elegance.
Axyl Etch is supplied with a 5-meter neoprene H05RN-F cable for connection to a remote recessed connection box, and installation is simple with two oblong fixing points that allow precise positioning on the wall. An adjustable screw provides up to 5° of tilt, giving installers control over light placement to best suit the architectural feature being illuminated. Fixing anchors and screws are not included with the product, and the DALI-2 driver must be ordered separately if dimming control is desired.
The luminaire’s optical system is application-specific, using a single LED and linear optic to produce a uniform, narrow beam that accentuates window reveals or arches with precision. Its medium size of 150 mm by 90 mm by 40 mm with square edges makes it discreet yet effective, creating a refined lighting effect without visual intrusion. Axyl Etch is engineered for longevity, with an operating ambient temperature range from -20°C to +50°C and an expected lifetime of 70,000 hours at L80 B10 Ta 25°C or 50,000 hours at L80 B10 Ta 40°C.
With no visible screws and a protective clip-locking system for the diffuser, the luminaire maintains a clean, minimalist appearance. Electrical Class I and Risk Class RG2 ratings ensure safe operation, while its IK10-rated impact protection and IP65 ingress protection make it suitable for exterior applications. Axyl Etch brings together precision optics, robust construction, and elegant design to deliver an effective, energy-efficient solution for architectural accent lighting on windows, arches, and other building details.
