The MYO™ recessed multiples redefine architectural versatility by integrating up to three layers of light within one compact, high-performance form factor. Available in one-, two-, or three-head configurations, MYO fixtures bring flexibility and precision to architectural spaces with options for open downlight or wall wash functionality. The system supports multiple beam distributions including 15°, 25°, 35°, and 45° narrow-to-wide angles, as well as elliptical patterns such as 35°x15°, 50°x20°, and 60°x70°. A wide selection of trims enhances design adaptability—bevel edge or slot styles, flanged or flangeless configurations, and open or textured diffusing lenses—allowing MYO to complement any ceiling aesthetic.

Performance is at the core of the MYO design philosophy. With lumen packages ranging from 500 to 5,000 lumens, these recessed multiples create dynamic layers of light that balance visual comfort and functional brightness. Gotham’s proprietary Bounding Ray™ technology virtually eliminates flash, achieving superior glare control and consistent visual uniformity. The system accommodates up to ten different driver options, supporting protocols from 0–10V dimming to DMX control for complete lighting customization. Certified for UL and wet location use and compliant with Buy American standards, MYO delivers reliability across demanding architectural environments.

The MYO optical system employs a 100% virgin silicone refractive optic, engineered for long-term dimensional stability and color clarity with no discoloration over the fixture’s lifetime. Primary light distribution is managed through the refractive optic, ensuring that trim color and finish maintain aesthetic impact without altering performance. Designers can further refine their lighting effects through eleven field-interchangeable optics and an optional wall wash accessory. The patented Optical Baffle (U.S. Patent D851,326S) utilizes Gotham’s Bounding Ray design to reduce flash while maintaining even illuminance and a balanced appearance across the aperture.

Mechanically, the MYO recessed multiple integrates seamlessly into modern architecture with a matte black enclosure that minimizes visual presence. Each luminaire supports up to 40° of vertical tilt and 365° of horizontal rotation, all adjustable from below the ceiling for effortless on-site aiming. The fixture accommodates ceiling thicknesses from 3/8" to 5/8" and installs from below as standard in non-IC applications. Optional configurations include Structural Reinforcement Pan, Chicago Plenum, and Type IC for broader specification needs. Trim choices include Slot, Bevel, or Flangeless Bevel options, the latter incorporating Gotham’s proprietary mud ring for a clean, flangeless drywall finish.

The MYO electrical system features a solid-state LED light engine available in 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, and 4000K color temperatures, with standard 80+ CRI or an optional high 90+ CRI for critical color rendering applications. It ensures a rated system life exceeding 60,000 hours at 70% lumen maintenance, supported by dimming compatibility that includes 120V TRIAC or ELV, 0–10V, and DMX options. Each head can be controlled independently or grouped for parallel or branch circuit operation, maintaining consistent 2.5-step MacAdam ellipse color uniformity across all heads.

Every MYO recessed multiple is designed for seamless specification flexibility. All heads can be uniform or independently configured in CCT, lumens, beam, and CRI, offering exceptional creative freedom. The system also integrates easily with cylinder or pendant forms for cohesive visual design. Eleven color finishes—seven solid and four metallic—allow precise alignment with surrounding materials. Compatible with metal, wood, drywall, and suspended grid ceilings, MYO adapts to diverse architectural contexts.

With aperture sizes of 2 inches and available shapes including rectangular and square, MYO recessed multiples operate across voltages from 120V to 277V and wattages from 7W to 25W.
