This compact and lightweight fixture delivers up to 2,040 lumens per meter (626 lumens per foot), making it ideal for vibrant color-changing effects on building façades and large-scale architectural features. Its advanced 4-in-1 LED options—available in RGBW30K, RGBA, or RGB—provide exceptional color rendering and output flexibility, while COLOR-AMP® technology boosts light output by up to three times in specific color modes.
Built with GVA’s signature UNIBODY™ Technology, the STR9® GEN3 features a solid, extruded aluminum body with no seams or endcaps, offering best-in-class sealing against water ingress and long-term durability in the harshest outdoor environments. Each fixture is hermetically sealed and electronically tested, ensuring reliability and maintenance-free performance. The optically clear tempered glass lens resists yellowing and houses a built-in color-mixing system and diffusing film, delivering uniform light output immediately adjacent to the luminaire without striations or color separation.
The fixture maintains a consistent LED pitch within and between luminaires for uninterrupted illumination and offers 300 mm (1 ft) addressability for fine-grained control. With support for DMX control via GVA power-data equipment, users can program dynamic effects and color transitions with precision. Thanks to INFINITY® Technology, the STR9® GEN3 can be deployed in exceptionally long lighting circuits powered from a single location, minimizing infrastructure costs.
It is available in multiple lengths—300 mm to 1500 mm (1 ft to 5 ft)—and beam angle options, including symmetrical and elliptical distributions. The luminaire supports through-wiring for easy daisy-chaining and plug-and-play compatibility with GVA’s FL Series products, ensuring seamless integration. Power options include 10W, 15W, and 20W per foot, with input voltage choices of 48VDC (ELV), 380VDC (INFINITY®), and AC line voltages (120VAC, 220–240VAC, 277VAC).
Designed to withstand extreme conditions, the STR9® GEN3 Color Changing is rated for operation in temperatures ranging from -40°C to +50°C (-40°F to 122°F), with a projected lifetime (L70) exceeding 100,000 hours at 30°C.
