The FL50-G2-OM is the latest generation color-changing architectural spot and flood LED luminaire in the FL product series, designed to provide exceptional performance and versatility for creative lighting projects. Built on the award-winning COLOR-STREAM® platform, this fixture offers communication speeds up to sixteen times faster than traditional DMX, enabling liquid-smooth dimming and seamless color transitions. With GVA’s innovative COLOR-AMP® technology, the FL50-G2-OM delivers up to three times the light output compared to conventional multichannel luminaires, making it ideal for architectural wall washing, grazing, and precise spot lighting applications.
Equipped with 36 discreet high-power LEDs, the FL50-G2-OM achieves high punch color mixing with up to 5,660 delivered lumens per channel. It features ultra-narrow beam angles as tight as 4°, and a broad range of color-changing configurations including RGBW variants spanning from 1800K to 6500K, as well as an RGBA option. Optical efficiency is maximized through the use of PMMA TIR lenses, micro lens films, and tempered glass, offering a diverse selection of symmetrical and elliptical optical distributions to suit various lighting requirements. Additionally, optical accessories are available to manage glare and further refine light output.
The luminaire supports up to 79 units in a single continuous run, enabled by GVA’s INFINITY® technology, and includes power-data through-wiring with sealed push-lock connectors for secure installation. Its compact dimensions (228 mm x 251 mm x 84 mm) and lightweight design (4.5 kg) allow for flexible mounting options and custom configurations. The FL50-G2-OM is engineered for durability and longevity, featuring an AAMA 2604 compliant powder coating for excellent weather resistance, meeting IP66 standards for wet environments, and incorporating progressive thermal protection. It operates reliably in extreme temperatures from -40°C to +50°C and complies with the ANSI C136.31-2018 vibration standard, making it suitable for demanding architectural and infrastructure applications.
Control is highly versatile through protocols such as Art-Net 4, sACN, DMX-512A, and DALI 2 via GVA’s Power-Data Converter (PDC-GEN5). The COLOR-STREAM® communication protocol supports a refresh rate up to 120 Hz and a 12-bit dimming resolution with 4,096 micro-steps per color channel, ensuring flicker-free, ultra-smooth dimming and color transitions without audible noise. The luminaire achieves a flicker-free dimming frequency equivalent to 40 kHz, suitable for human vision and high-speed video capture. Its projected LED lifetime exceeds 100,000 hours at 25°C, offering long-term performance with low maintenance requirements.
Available in white, silver, and black powder coat finishes, with custom colors offered upon request, the FL50-G2-OM provides both aesthetic flexibility and rugged construction.
