At the heart of Profile Mini Frame is the advanced Anidolic-extraction optical system. This proprietary technology delivers precise light control and high visual comfort while maintaining a minimalist aesthetic. The linear light extraction elements within its vertical optical structure ensure maximum clarity and performance, all within a refined geometric frame. With no horizontal lenses or diffusers, the luminaire can achieve up to 15-foot on-center spacing, delivering more than 42 footcandles at just 0.4 W/ft² and a uniformity ratio of 1.6:1 on the work plane.
Powered by low voltage stainless steel conductive aircraft cables, Frame eliminates the need for visible power cords. This contributes to a clean and elegant suspended appearance, enhancing its architectural integration. Installation is simplified with no fixture-level electrical connections, as low-voltage power cables are factory preinstalled. Its robust construction includes extruded and machined architectural-grade aluminum with precision-cast corners and stainless steel fasteners. Profile Mini Frame is available with a native 60 Up / 40 Down light distribution, with a total output exceeding 10,000 lumens. Independent Up | Down control enables fully dimmable or switchable operation, making it ideal for multipurpose spaces that require flexibility for presentations, video conferencing, or ambient lighting adjustments. This capability allows users to fine-tune illumination for both energy efficiency and occupant needs.
The optical system is comprised of precision-molded, high-transmittance acrylic lenses paired with long-life mid-flux LEDs. Color temperature options include 3000K, 3500K, and 4000K, with a choice of CRI ≥80 and R9 ≥0 or CRI ≥90 and R9 ≥50, all maintained within a 2-step SDCM for color consistency.
Frame’s integrated multivolt drivers support 120–277V or 347V operation at 50–60Hz and feature high efficiency with a power factor over 0.90 and THD under 20%. Dimming options include standard 3%, with 1% and 0.1% available. The system also meets ANSI and IEEE standards for surge protection and inrush current, and is NEMA 410 compliant. Optional emergency systems include a 10W Class 2 battery pack offering 90 minutes of operation, or a GTD switch that ensures full light output during generator backup.
To support remote mounting, recommended wire gauges for minimal power loss include 18 AWG for 30 feet, 14 AWG for 50 feet, and 12 AWG for 80 feet. Profile Mini Frame is suitable for dry or damp indoor environments with ambient temperatures between 0–30°C (32–86°F). However, it is not intended for use in chemically aggressive environments or natatorium settings. For maintenance, it should be cleaned only with a slightly damp, soft cloth—free from chemicals like solvents, ammonia, or chlorine.
