The DA luminaire introduces a refined, hemispherical form that brings a touch of warmth and playfulness to urban lighting. Its curved design gives it a distinctive, minimalist aesthetic that integrates seamlessly into a wide range of architectural environments. Ideal for streets, plazas, and public spaces, the DA family combines visual elegance with cutting-edge lighting technology to deliver both atmosphere and performance.
Built to impress with both looks and intelligence, the DA luminaire is compatible with the A–Series and T–Series optics, including ewoLightTile modules, allowing for a broad spectrum of beam characteristics and reduced glare. This compatibility ensures highly precise illumination tailored to each project’s needs, making the DA family suitable for varied lighting applications.
The construction of the DA luminaire features a housing made from low-copper aluminum (≤ 0.08%), with an option for enhanced corrosion resistance through the ewoECP protective layer. The round luminaire head not only distinguishes DA from other pole-mounted options in the ewo lineup but also delivers a soft, inviting visual identity, making it a strong choice for projects aiming to blend form and function.
From a performance perspective, the A–Series version supports a current feed range of 200 to 600 mA depending on ambient temperature, with a maximum luminous flux of 14,700 lumens. It supports color temperatures from 2,200 K to 5,700 K with various CRI options, and offers features such as Constant Lumen Output (CLO) and emergency AC/DC operation upon request. Control options include DALI, 1–10 V, stand-alone programming, or Line Switch interfaces.
The T–Series configuration delivers a maximum luminous flux of 4,600 lumens with current feed up to 225 mA and features Tunable White color temperatures from 2,200 K to 6,500 K, supporting CRI values of 80 by default and 90 upon request. It operates using a DALI T8 interface and can be tailored to meet specialized lighting scenarios.
DA is also fully compatible with ewo’s modular systems, including ewoLightTile and ewoLightLayers, enabling a nearly limitless range of lighting configurations—the A–Series alone supports over 1.7 billion lens combinations. Furthermore, smart lighting integration is seamless. DA luminaires can be connected to control systems either internally or externally, supporting DALI protocols and Zhaga interfaces for group or individual control and smart city applications.
