The Vizi Beam CMY is equipped with a host of advanced features aimed at giving lighting designers creative flexibility. Its CMY color mixing system, utilizing color wheels instead of flags, enables faster transitions and smoother blending. This system unlocks a wide range of rich, vibrant hues and supports impressive scrolling color effects. The fixture also includes a 14-position dichroic color wheel with popular color choices, UV, CTB (9000K), and CTO (3200K) filters. An innovative five-color dichroic feature (red, green, orange, blue, and yellow) generates unique multicolor beam effects. The indexed color wheel allows for precise split colors and variable-speed scrolling.
Further enhancing its visual capabilities, the fixture features a dedicated GOBO wheel with 17 static patterns, including four beam reducers and a shake effect for dynamic projection. Dual rotating prisms—16-facet circular and 6-facet linear—can be used individually or combined to deliver complex, multi-layered beam patterns. An integrated Aria X2 wireless transceiver provides wireless DMX control via a stable mesh network, remote fixture management through the Aria X2 mobile app, and OTA (over-the-air) firmware updates for added convenience.

Power input and output sockets use outdoor-rated locking connectors for daisy-chaining multiple units. Standard 5-pin DMX In/Out ports support up to 32 fixtures on a single data line.
