The ADJ Par Z150 RGBA is a modern reimagining of the classic halogen Par Can, combining the iconic form factor of a Par 64 with cutting-edge LED technology. At its core is a potent 150-watt RGBA Chip On Board (C.O.B.) LED engine that delivers vivid color mixing and white light with a color temperature adjustable between 2300K and 9900K. This makes it ideal for a variety of stage and dancefloor wash applications. The fixture offers a manual zoom with five beam angle options—7°, 11.5°, 16°, 20.5°, and 25°—and comes with a gel frame that can hold a diffusion filter (sold separately) for even broader light dispersion.
Built for performance and reliability, the Par Z150 RGBA features a high CRI of over 90, ensuring accurate color rendering for scenery, costumes, and natural skin tones. C.O.B. LED technology enables uniform light output with no color shadows, while 64 built-in color macros, plus white light temperature presets, simplify programming. Additional onboard features such as six dimming modes, four dimming curves, and a color balance adjustment for each RGBA channel allow users to customize the fixture to meet a wide range of creative requirements.
Physically, the Par Z150 RGBA maintains the familiar look of a traditional par can but offers substantial upgrades. The rugged metal housing matches the dimensions of a conventional Par 64 (19.25" x 10.94" x 10.68") and weighs just 7.94 lbs (3.6 kg), making it ideal for both permanent installations and mobile setups. The adjustable yoke bracket can be securely locked in position with thumb screws, while 5-pin DMX input/output and locking powerCON-style connections enable secure and streamlined cabling. The fixture supports daisy chaining, allowing up to nine units to run from a single 120V outlet, or up to 17 at 230V.
Control is managed through a four-button OLED display on the rear panel, offering intuitive navigation through DMX addressing and mode settings. The Par Z150 RGBA supports nine DMX control modes (ranging from 4 to 12 channels) and is RDM compatible, allowing for remote configuration and monitoring. It also includes standalone, primary/secondary, and manual control modes for flexibility in different setups. With a refresh rate of 3KHz and flicker-free electronic dimming from 0 to 100%, the fixture is suitable for broadcast and camera applications as well.
The Par Z150 RGBA is part of ADJ’s updated Par Z Series, which also includes the PAR Z100 3K2 and PAR Z100 5K2. These models maintain the same physical design while offering single-color warm white (3000K) and cool white (5000K) LED engines, respectively. Both versions also use high CRI (>90) C.O.B. LEDs and provide adjustable beam angles between 9° and 30° using a manual latch system. Their warm and cool white outputs mimic traditional halogen lamps while benefiting from modern LED efficiency, reduced heat output, and virtually maintenance-free operation with a rated LED lifespan of 50,000 hours.
