The ADJ Encore LP18IP is a robust and highly versatile LED Par fixture designed for both indoor and temporary outdoor use. Built with an all-metal housing and rated IP65 for protection against water, snow, dust, and sand, the LP18IP is engineered for the demands of professional production environments. It features eighteen 20-watt Quad RGBL (Red, Green, Blue, Lime) LEDs that deliver vibrant color mixing and high brightness, enhanced by a native 10-degree beam angle and a removable 25-degree frost filter for wider wash applications. With a total lumen output of 7,300 and a high CRI of 86.2 (R9: 82.8), this fixture offers exceptional color quality, making it suitable for theatrical productions, concert stages, broadcast setups, and outdoor events.
The inclusion of a lime LED chip enhances color rendering and allows for more vivid hues, while also increasing the fixture’s color rendering index. The LP18IP supports both full RGBL mixing and linear white color temperature adjustment from 2700K to 7000K. It also includes five preset white color temperatures (2700K, 3200K, 4000K, 5600K, and 6500K), as well as 64 built-in color macros for rapid programming. Its flicker-free performance, with an adjustable refresh rate ranging from 900Hz to 25,000Hz, ensures it performs reliably in film and broadcast environments.
For maximum flexibility, the Encore LP18IP supports six DMX modes (4, 7, 8, 10, 13, and 16 channels), five operational modes, six dimming curves (Standard, Stage, TV, Architectural, Theatre, Stage 2), and four dimmer profiles (Linear, Square, Inverse Square, and S-Curve). The fixture can be controlled through a 4-button interface with a backlit LCD display, and it’s also RDM-compatible, allowing for remote management and configuration. A quiet fan mode and large heat sinks minimize operational noise, which is essential for theatrical and studio use.
Physically, the LP18IP features IP65-rated locking power connectors and 5-pin DMX in/out with protective rubber covers. It is equipped with a dual scissor yoke that can serve as a floor stand or be used for truss mounting, while optional barn doors and additional beam shaping accessories—including 20°, 60°, and 100° frost filters, as well as 30x60° and 1x40° LSF (Light Shaping Filters)—further enhance its adaptability. These accessories attach securely to the fixture’s front frame for quick setup and adjustment.
Part of the Encore Lime Par Series—which also includes the LP7IP and LP12IP models with 7 and 12 LEDs respectively—the LP18IP is the most powerful of the line, weighing approximately 16 lbs. (7.15 kg) and measuring 11.85" x 9.25" x 11.5" (300 x 234 x 289mm). All models share the same rugged, powder-coated aluminum construction and tempered glass face, offering excellent protection for both touring and fixed installation applications.
With a maximum power consumption of 365W and multi-voltage operation (100–240V, 50/60Hz), the LP18IP supports daisy-chaining of up to two units at 120V or six units at 220V. Designed for longevity, it boasts a rated LED life of 50,000 hours.
