The ADJ Encore LB15IP is a rugged, weatherproof linear LED wash fixture designed to meet the needs of rental, event, and concert production applications. Built with a tough metal construction and an IP65 rating, the LB15IP is protected against liquid, snow, dust, and sand, making it ideal for both indoor and outdoor use. It features 15 high-output 20-Watt RGBL (Red, Green, Blue, Lime) LEDs that offer a wide range of color options. These LEDs are capable of producing white light with a variable color temperature from 2700K to 7000K and have a high Color Rendering Index (CRI) of 89.3, ensuring vibrant, true-to-life color rendering. The inclusion of the lime element enhances both the CRI and perceived brightness while filling in gaps in the color spectrum, making it suitable for a variety of lighting environments.
The LB15IP allows for extensive control over the color mixing process. The 16-bit fine control over the RGBL LEDs provides a vast range of color possibilities, and 64 built-in color macros make it easy to achieve popular color combinations. Additionally, each LED can be controlled independently, allowing for pixel-mapped effects across the fixture or multiple units. The fixture’s beam angle is initially 11 degrees but can be broadened to 25 degrees with the included frost filter, providing flexibility in its application. Optional frost filters are available, offering additional beam angles of 20, 60, or 100 degrees. The LB15IP is also equipped with a detachable glare shield and locking power input/output sockets, which facilitate daisy-chaining multiple fixtures from a single power source.
With its versatile DMX capabilities, the LB15IP supports ten different DMX modes, ranging from 4 to 120 channels. These modes allow for intricate control over the fixture, enabling the creation of complex chase patterns and pixel-mapped effects. Additionally, the fixture includes 13 pre-programmed chase patterns that can be triggered remotely via DMX, complete with customizable speed and fade times. The unit also offers a range of dimming modes, dimming curves, and adjustable refresh rates, ensuring compatibility with various lighting setups. The 16-character OLED display on the rear panel, paired with four push buttons, provides an easy-to-navigate menu for configuring the fixture’s settings, including Pixel Flip, Fan Speed, and DMX addressing.
The Encore LB15IP is compatible with ADJ’s WiFLY EXR wireless DMX protocol, allowing for wireless control over distances up to 2500 feet (700 meters). This makes it ideal for installations where running cables is difficult or impractical. The fixture also integrates seamlessly into cabled DMX setups with its IP65-rated 5-pin DMX input and output sockets. This robust connectivity ensures the fixture can handle both wired and wireless DMX signals in demanding environments. Additionally, the unit supports RDM (Remote Device Management) for simplified monitoring and control.
