At MDW 2023, iGuzzini is Living Vibes: the collection specially designed for the new living atmospheres that gives its name to the space designed by Stefano Boeri Interiors with the lighting scenography by Artec Studio, in one of the most characteristic and fascinating locations in Brera (Via Palermo 11, Blindarte).

Through the Living Vibes collections (Libera by Artec Studio, Allure, BeTwo by Alfonso Femia/AF Design, Whisper, Le Perroquet by Piano Design) and Italian Echoes (the reissues of the historical archive Polsino by Gio Ponti, Zurigo by Luigi Massoni, Sorella by Harvey, Nitia by Rodolfo Bonetto and Clan by Harvey), the installation tells the company's vocation for design and its new proposals for living environments.

Metal mesh and wood cover the internal surfaces of the space, adapting to its shapes but giving new meanings to their perception. Light guides and gives suggestions to the viewer through a multimedia synaesthesia of light effects, sounds and colours.

iGuzzini is also present in the iconic courtyard of the Università Statale, illuminating the installations of:
Stefano Boeri Interiors for Amazon, "The Swing", at the Cortile della Farmacia, where it will also exhibit 3 products from the Italian Echoes collection: Polsino; Whisper; Zurigo.
  • Inside the Cortile d'Onore, Massimo Iosa Ghini creates "The Oasis. Microarchitecture". A permeable palisade of wood and greenery that separates and encloses visitors for a moment of stillness. The lighting in the evening is entrusted to Underscore inOut luminaires and Palco Low Voltage projectors (∅ 49; Medium and Wide Flood optics).
  • The "Free.dom" installation curated by Simone Micheli as part of Interni's Re-Evolution FuoriSalone 2023 is a reflection on the freedom of choice within the possible future evolutions of the human being. iGuzzini supported the architect in the construction of the installation by providing Palco LV luminaires (Recessed ø 37mm, Wide Flood optic) for lighting the display cases.

During the MDW, iGuzzini will exhibit a selection of the Italian Echoes collection (Polsino by Gio Ponti, Nitia by Rodolfo Bonetto) in the boutique windows of Giuseppe Zanotti, a high fashion brand in the footwear sector, in Via Montenapoleone

iGuzzini illuminates “Behind the impossible” by BUOROMILAN, at the Fonderia Napoleonica Eugenia: an exhibition of works designed by the world's most daring architects.

Crystal conquers the jury of the Red Dot Design Award 2023 and wins the "Red Dot: Best of the Best" award for the Product Design category, the competition's highest recognition. Great success also for Linealuce Mini 27R: the linear lighting system designed by architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte wins the 'Red Dot' award in the Product Design category for high design quality.

With around 20,000 entries per year, the Red Dot Design Award has a history of more than 60 years and is one of the world's largest design competitions. To reach a professional verdict, given the diversity of the design sector, the competition is divided into three disciplines: Product Design, Brands & Communication Design, and Design Concept.

This year, for the Product Design category, products in 51 competition categories from 60 countries were presented and evaluated by a jury of 43 members and through an in-depth examination, taking into account the socio-cultural character, the specific technical area and the design experience of the participating companies.

The awards received by Crystal and Linealuce MIni 27 R confirm iGuzzini's vocation for Design, which translates into beauty and formal research, but also technological and applicative innovation, reliability and performance, to continuously improve the experience of designers and end users.

Crystal is a new linear recessed luminaire that lends preciousness to the ceiling and the space, combining essential design, high visual comfort and extraordinary luminous efficiency, up to 155 lm/W. The new patented Opti Diamond optics are the result of a careful study of materials and engineering that optimise the catadioptric principle, and allow extraordinary brilliance at low luminance. Crystal has been awarded the ECO Passport, an environmental certification that assesses the environmental impact of luminaires.

Linealuce Mini 27R is the new miniaturised version of the famous line designed by Jean-Michel Wilmotte for iGuzzini, with very high performance, to encourage maximum integration in architecture and space. A three-dimensional slit of light, just 2.7 cm deep, it fits into any thickness of the architecture, blending into it. High performance, efficiency of up to 100 lm/W, tailor-made light distribution, reduction of materials, use of recycled and recyclable materials, highlight how Linealuce mini 27R is an excellence of ecodesign.
