The DOC220-FT LED is a compact, high-performance recessed luminaire engineered for durability, efficiency, and glare-free illumination. Designed with a marine-grade, die-cast aluminium alloy housing, it offers exceptional resistance to corrosion through a 5CE protection system, including PCS polymer-coated stainless steel hardware. The fixture is sealed with a silicone rubber gasket and features a hinged safety glass lens within a secure frame with a safety catch, ensuring long-term environmental protection with an IP66 rating and IK07 impact resistance.
Optimized for visual comfort, the DOC220-FT integrates a darklight anodised aluminium reflector paired with a PMMA diffusor lens, delivering a symmetric wide beam distribution with effective glare control and soft light output. The luminaire is equipped with a factory-installed LED circuit board and an integral ECG control gear housed in a thermally separated compartment, promoting stable operation and thermal management.
Measuring 154 mm in diameter and operating at 24 watts, the DOC220-FT provides high-output illumination with nominal lumen packages of 4050 lm (2700 K), 4220 lm (3000 K), and 4400 lm (4000 K). It supports a standard LED driver and offers an optional DALI-compatible version for advanced lighting control. The power supply range is 220–240V at 50–60 Hz, with integrated 6/6 kV surge protection for electrical safety. Rated with a lifespan of over 50,000 hours at L70B50 (Ta = 25°C), the luminaire is an energy-efficient solution with a light source classified in energy efficiency class D.
For secure installation in concrete ceilings, a flush or proud pre-installation blockout is available and recommended, to be ordered separately. The DOC220-FT is available in a range of architectural powder-coated finishes, including RAL9004 Signal Black, RAL9006 White Aluminium, RAL9007 Grey Aluminium, RAL7016 Anthracite Grey, and RAL9016 Traffic White, making it ideal for integration into various interior and semi-outdoor design schemes.
