The DOC240-GB LED is a robust and high-performance luminaire designed for demanding environments, offering IP66 ingress protection and IK07 impact resistance. Its body is constructed from marine-grade die-cast aluminium alloy and protected with 5CE superior corrosion protection, including PCS polymer-coated stainless steel hardware. A silicone rubber gasket ensures long-lasting sealing, while the hinged safety glass lens provides easy access and durability.
The luminaire features CAD-optimised optics for superior illumination and effective glare control, along with BEGA’s OLC® (One LED Concept) for consistent performance. The factory-installed LED circuit board is housed in a thermally separated compartment with an integral electronic converter (EC). Gimbal-mounted functionality allows the fixture to be tilted up to 30° and rotated 355°, offering flexible aiming.
Available in several standard colors, including RAL9004 Signal Black, RAL9006 White Aluminium, RAL9007 Grey Aluminium, RAL7016 Anthracite Grey, and RAL9016 Traffic White, the fixture also supports an optional 2200 K version, which must be specified at the time of ordering. For installation in cast concrete ceilings, a proud or flush pre-installation blockout is recommended and can be ordered separately.
This luminaire is suitable for chlorine-rich environments, such as swimming pools, when requested during ordering. It operates on a 220–240V power supply (50–60 Hz) with standard or optional DALI-compatible LED drivers and includes built-in surge protection rated at 6/6 kV. The DOC240-GB LED boasts a long lifetime of over 90,000 hours at L90B10 (Ta = 25°C) and has a light source energy efficiency class of C–D.
