The DAC240-GB LED is a high-performance architectural lighting fixture designed for precision, durability, and adaptability in demanding environments. It features an IP65 protection rating and is built to Class I electrical standards, with Class II available on request. Engineered from marine-grade, die-cast aluminium alloy and reinforced with 5CE superior corrosion protection—including PCS polymer-coated stainless steel hardware—this luminaire ensures long-term performance even in harsh environmental conditions.
The fixture incorporates a silicone rubber gasket and a hinged safety glass lens secured by a frame with a safety catch, allowing easy access when necessary. Two cable entries simplify installation flexibility. At the heart of the luminaire is an integral EC electronic converter, housed in a thermally separated compartment to ensure consistent and safe performance. The OLC® One LED Concept, combined with CAD-optimized optics, delivers superior illumination and advanced glare control.
A key feature of the DAC240-GB LED is its gimbal-mounted design, which enables 30° tilting and 355° rotation for precise beam orientation. The luminaire operates at 18 watts and has a diameter of 250 mm. It is compatible with standard and optional DALI dimming drivers, with power supplied at 220–240V, 50–60 Hz. Built-in surge protection (6/6 kV) safeguards the system from voltage spikes.
Available beam distributions include symmetric wide beam [B], medium beam [M], very narrow beam [EE], sharp cut-off very narrow beam [EES], and wallwash [A20], making this fixture versatile for a wide range of architectural lighting scenarios. Color temperature options range from 2700 K to 4000 K, with an optional 2200 K version available for warmer-toned applications.
To enhance optical performance and flexibility, the DAC240-GB LED can be equipped with optional accessories such as a flood lens and honeycomb louvre. Finish options include a selection of RAL colors: Signal Black (RAL9004), White Aluminium (RAL9006), Grey Aluminium (RAL9007), Anthracite Grey (RAL7016), and Traffic White (RAL9016), allowing for seamless integration into a variety of design aesthetics.
