The Inground LS9401LED is an exceptionally versatile luminaire designed to meet a range of lighting needs. It can operate at its full 2W output when high illumination is required or be set as low as 0.2W to create a subtle dot of light, either configured at the factory or adjusted in the field. Additionally, the luminaire supports dynamic dimming through Lumascape’s advanced d5 driver technology, allowing precise control over light output. Supplied with a sturdy installation sleeve, it is well suited for landscape applications such as gardens and planters. The housing incorporates 316 marine grade stainless steel, providing robust durability, and features Lumascape’s proprietary ElectroPolishPlus™ surface treatment for enhanced corrosion resistance and longevity.
This luminaire offers static white and color options with excellent performance specifications. At 3,000 K and 80 CRI, it delivers 169 lumens with an efficacy of 60 lumens per watt and a peak intensity of 1,989 candela. The 4,000 K version produces 184 lumens at 66 lumens per watt with a peak intensity of 2,066 candela. A blue LED option (470 nm) is also available. These static white lumen output values are based on the 2W luminaire equipped with a 14° lens. Various beam angles are offered, including 14°, 20°, 30°, 10° x 40°, and flood configurations, providing flexible lighting effects. The LED power ranges between 1W and 2W, with a maximum power consumption of 2.8W for the 2W model.
Operating on low voltage, the luminaire supports 24V DC for international markets and 12-15V AC or 12-24V DC in North America. It utilizes PWM protocols and is compatible with converters for 0-10V, DMX, and DALI control signals, enhancing integration with diverse lighting control systems. The housing consists of a 316 marine-grade stainless steel bezel combined with a polymer body, ensuring durability and weather resistance. The LS9401LED is designed for direct burial installation in landscapes or planters and carries a static load rating of 450 kg (992 lb), making it suitable for rugged environments. It boasts an IP68 ingress protection rating and an IK10 impact resistance rating.
For control signal compatibility, the luminaire can be paired with specific converters: LS67100 for DMX to PWM, LSLED-RGBDIM-DALI for DALI control, and LS6125-2 for 0-10V to PWM conversion. Installation configurations allow up to 20 luminaires per run under certain conditions, such as supporting up to three individually addressed dimmable channels, with luminaires driven by integral LED drivers and powered either through individual power supplies or via the LS67100 PWM controller (up to 100W total). For static color dimming solutions, up to 50 luminaires can be dimmed together on a single run using the LS6122 wall plate dimmer, with luminaires powered by individual or shared power supplies. In all cases, adherence to local electrical codes and circuit limitations is essential to ensure safe and reliable operation.
