The Embrace multilayer LED fixture has been purpose-built for vertical and indoor farming applications, where maintaining a stable growing climate is essential. In such multilayer cultivation environments, managing heat and humidity is critical. To address this, Embrace incorporates active water cooling, effectively drawing heat away from both the fixture and the surrounding environment. This reduces temperature fluctuations and helps maintain optimal humidity and CO₂ levels for plant growth. Additionally, the ability to reuse the extracted heat contributes to a more sustainable cultivation process.
Developed by the Dutch powerhouse, the Embrace fixture is engineered for situations where space between the crop and lighting is limited. It features a unique combination of dual wide-beam optics, a specially shaped PCB, and strategically placed LEDs that deliver outstanding light uniformity. This configuration enables a single Embrace fixture to evenly illuminate a large cultivation area, ensuring consistent light distribution across all plants.
The Embrace is also equipped with a dynamically adjustable spectrum, allowing growers to fine-tune light intensity and spectral composition. The three-channel system offers precise control, adjustable from 0% to 100% in 0.5% increments. Depending on the chosen spectrum, the fixture can achieve a high photon flux of up to 751 μmol/s with an exceptional efficacy of 3.8 μmol/J, supporting high-yield growth throughout all plant stages.
Designed for long-term performance, Embrace offers a lifespan of L90 B05 at 50,000 hours and comes backed by a five-year warranty. It operates within a wide voltage range of 230–480 VAC and uses water as its cooling liquid, suitable for temperatures from the dew point up to 113°F (45°C). Each fixture imparts approximately 74 watts of heat to the cooling system, making it an energy-conscious solution for professional horticulture.
