Micro Ring II offers versatile lighting options, providing both direct and indirect illumination as part of the larger Micro Ring family, which includes four additional light emission variants for layered and dynamic lighting effects. To better accommodate diverse design needs, a lower output version of Micro Ring II is also available. This option is ideal for applications requiring subtler, more atmospheric lighting without sacrificing the signature uniformity and quality of light diffusion. It excels in intimate spaces or settings where a softer, less pronounced lighting effect is desired, thereby broadening the range of solutions available within the Micro Ring collection.
Constructed from powder-coated aluminum, the Micro Ring II includes a protruding diffuser lens measuring 0.08 inches (2.1mm) that enhances light distribution. The luminaire integrates seamlessly into modern lighting controls, with remote HPF electronic drivers compatible with 120-277V, 347V, and EU-240V systems. These dimmable drivers are remotely mounted, with wire gauges supporting distances up to 90 feet (27.4 meters), provided the drivers remain accessible after installation. The fixture can also connect to data networks through Power over Ethernet (PoE), offering advanced integration capabilities.
For safety and compliance, a remote emergency lighting option is available, providing up to 1.5 hours (3 hours in the EU) of emergency illumination. This system includes an inverter module, NiCad batteries, and a remote LED charge indicator and test switch, which fits a standard single gang box. The maximum distance between the wall or ceiling plate and the luminaire is 15 feet (4.5 meters). Micro Ring II is also sensor compatible—interested parties are advised to consult the factory regarding specific sensor integrations.
Delivering lumens and LPW based on 4000K color temperature with a minimum 80 CRI, Micro Ring II offers reliable, high-quality lighting performance.
