The Slope Wall Mount Light, designed by Sam Hecht and Kim Colin of London-based Industrial Facility for Urbidermis, features a subtle 9° angle that gracefully echoes and blends into the urban landscape’s topography. With a minimalist profile measuring less than an inch at its thinnest point, this sleek wall-mounted luminaire houses advanced LED arrays that provide precise, modern lighting accents to façades, streetscapes, parks, and building entrances. Its design offers both aesthetic refinement and functional illumination, making it an ideal solution for contemporary urban environments.
Slope is available in configurations featuring either 18 or 36 Cree XPG2 LEDs, and offers multiple distributions, power outputs, and color temperatures of 3000K or 4000K to suit various lighting needs. The luminaire is International Dark-Sky Approved, featuring a tempered glass lens available in clear or opal diffused finishes to control light quality and glare. Powered by a 120V-277V Class 2 integrated driver, it includes a standard 1-10V dimming interface, with DALI dimming available upon request. The fixture ships fully assembled and prewired for ease of installation, and its housing is crafted from durable cast aluminum with a frameless glass lens sealed to the housing, ensuring protection and longevity with an IP66 rating.
Versatility is built into Slope’s design, allowing for wall mounting as well as attachment to poles or columns. The poles come in five standard heights ranging from 3.4 to 6.6 meters and are made from seamless 6061 aluminum tubing, heat-treated to T6 temper for strength and durability. These round poles measure 4.5 inches in diameter and feature a natural aluminum powdercoat finish exclusive to Urbidermis, while the Pangard II® powdercoat finish on poles is provided exclusively by Landscape Forms. The luminaire mounts securely to a die-cast bracket on the pole using two screws, and includes a flush-mounted hand hole cover with magni-coated fasteners for clean aesthetics and easy maintenance. With a weight of 13.6 pounds (luminaire only) and an effective projected area (EPA) of 0.35 ft², the Slope Wall Mount Light combines refined design with robust engineering, suitable for wet locations and UL listed for safety.
