Constructed with a durable aluminum body and finished with a powder coat, the fixture includes an opal acrylic diffuser measuring 2.4 inches wide that ensures consistent, soft illumination. Designed for straightforward installation, the luminaire mounts directly over a J box (supplied by others). For modern integration, Ooooh supports Power over Ethernet (PoE), allowing seamless connection to data networks. It is also compatible with circadian lighting systems, and customers can consult the factory for BIOS-enabled configurations to promote well-being through tuned light cycles.
Powering the fixture are HPF electronic drivers that operate across 120-277V and 347V (EU-240V) ranges, integrated directly into the housing to optimize performance and serviceability. The system delivers high-quality light output based on a 4000K color temperature with a CRI of 80+, ensuring natural and vibrant illumination. Emergency lighting capabilities are also available through an integral system providing up to 1.5 hours (3 hours in EU) of emergency operation. This self-contained option includes the inverter module, NiCad batteries, LED charge indicator, and a test switch (NA only), although it is not compatible with a 347V supply.

In terms of longevity, the fixture boasts a reported L70 lifespan of over 60,000 hours at 25°C (77°F) delivering 2000 lumens per foot (6000 lumens per meter). The estimated L70 extends to more than 165,000 hours under the same conditions, reflecting exceptional durability and minimal maintenance.
