The EZ hang-straight offers a cast stainless steel ball and swivel vertical design with a two-part construction for simplified installation. The catenary mount accommodates aircraft cables ranging from 1/4 to 5/8 inches in diameter and includes a cast aluminum span wire clamp with a decorative wire box that transitions to the EZ hang-straight. Stainless steel hardware is included, with finishes tailored to the luminaire’s color for durability and aesthetic cohesion.
The 1940LED Glenview is designed for optimal visual comfort and field serviceability. Optional SoftVue™ lenses, available in flat or sag profiles and crafted from glass or acrylic, reduce glare and ensure a comfortable lighting experience. The lens is easily accessible for maintenance, simplifying service and cleaning in the field. For enhanced backlight control, an optional 120° external House Side Shield can be added, spun from aluminum and painted to match the fixture.
At the core of the luminaire is a UL-recognized, high-efficiency LED driver integrated within the fixture. This driver operates at 50/60Hz, supports 0–10V dimming, and includes overload, overheat, and short-circuit protection, as well as supplemental line-ground and line-neutral surge protection per IEEE/ANSI guidelines. The driver is designed for longevity, featuring quick-disconnect connectors for easy installation and maintenance. High-output, high-brightness LEDs are fully shielded for downward light distribution, with individual refractor optics for precise light shaping. The fixture carries an IP66 rating, providing robust protection against dust and water intrusion, and is UL-listed under UL1598 and CSA C22.2 No. 250.0 for wet locations in the United States and Canada. Dark sky-friendly optics with a U0 BUG rating help minimize light pollution, making it suitable for environmentally sensitive areas. The fixture is finished using a six-stage polyester powder coat system, exceeding AAMA 2604 and 2605 standards, as well as ASTM D523 and D4214, for long-lasting color and protection. Traditional finishes include Black, White, Park Green, Architectural Medium Bronze, and Dark Bronze, while Sternberg Select finishes offer antique-inspired options such as Old World Gray Textured, Verde Green, and Swedish Iron, each with unique aging characteristics over time.
Additional features include the optional Fixed Dimming Resistor Board (FDRB), a numbered 10-step selector switch that allows precise light level adjustments in the field from 25% to 100% of original output, and pre-wired electronic or twist-lock photocontrols. Button-type photocontrols activate at 1.5 footcandles and turn off at 2–3 footcandles, while twist-lock types offer a 3–6 second turn-off delay. Decorative caps can be used to accommodate standard photocells with specific finial options.
