The Generation 2 Linealux L1 mini grazer redefines compact architectural lighting with its slim 1.1" (28 mm) profile and exceptional performance capabilities. Despite its small size, this linear LED fixture is packed with advanced features such as EasyGlow™ for enhanced visual comfort, CoolDrive™ for intelligent thermal management, and PowerSync™ for seamless digital communication and control. With PowerSync, lighting designers gain highly granular control via DMX/RDM without the need for extra wiring, streamlining installation and system integration.
Engineered for creative flexibility, the Linealux L1 features precision-designed optics that maintain excellent uniformity and color consistency across wide spacing distances. Its optical system is optimized to deliver superb color-over-angle performance, making it ideal for close-range grazing and blending effects. Available in standard lengths ranging from 1 ft (300 mm) to 5 ft (1500 mm), the fixture supports diverse applications and installation requirements.
The fixture is offered in static white, dynamic color, and tunable white versions. Static white models range from 2,700K to 5,000K with output up to 2,020 lumens and efficacies as high as 77 lm/W. Dynamic color options include RGBA with 1,180 lumens (44 lm/W) and RGBW with Royal Blue at 1,100 lumens (41 lm/W). The tunable white version spans 2,700K to 6,500K, delivering up to 1,750 lumens for adaptive white light control.
With beam angles including 20º x 80º, 30º x 80º, 40º x 80º, and asymmetric distributions, the Linealux L1 Generation 2 supports tailored illumination across architectural surfaces. Power consumption is efficient at 5 to 7 watts per foot, while the fixture’s rated lifetime exceeds 60,000 hours (B10, L70, TM21). Operated on low voltage (30–48 VDC), it integrates easily into energy-efficient systems.
Control is managed through Lumascape’s PowerSync® interface and supports multiple protocols, including DMX/RDM, Artnet, and 0–10V (for non-color-changing models). It offers flicker-free dimming to 0.1% with a high-frequency PWM of 10 kHz and is configurable via RDM. Control resolution is available in granular increments from ¾" (19 mm) to full luminaire control, giving designers precise command over light output.
Physically, the Linealux L1 is built to withstand demanding environments. It features a marine-grade extruded aluminum housing, tempered OptiClear™ glass lens, and a durable 9-step powder-coating process that includes marine-grade anodizing. It is surface-mounted with multiple adjustable bracket options, making installation flexible and secure. Operating temperatures range from -40°F to 122°F (-40°C to 50°C), with surface temperatures staying below 95°F (35°C). A 4-foot section weighs only 3.8 lb (1.7 kg) and has a projected area of 0.5 ft² (0.04 m²).
Certified for performance and safety, the Linealux L1 holds IP66/IP67 ratings (passing IP68 tests), an IK6 impact rating, 3G vibration resistance per ANSI C136.31, and approvals including ETL, CE, UKCA, RCM, and CCC. Suitable for dry, damp, and wet locations, it offers an innovative, compact lighting solution where space and visual impact are key.
