As part of the Skye Line, SkyePool incorporates three core lighting elements: a Sculpt 2x2 Recessed Ceiling Kit, three lensing options, and the Axis Reflect Insert. These elements combine to provide flexibility in optical performance, with a choice of 80 or 90 CRI and a range of lens styles that tailor the fixture’s appearance and output to suit different design objectives. Flush lens options deliver lower perceived brightness, while the 2-inch StepLens enhances dimensionality and light intensity, all while maintaining the fixture's signature soft, diffused glow.
SkyePool also supports a wide array of advanced lighting technologies and drivers. Options include Lutron’s Hi-lume 1% EcoSystem with Soft-on, Fade-to-Black; DALI and DMX protocols; and Xitanium SR for wireless sensor integration. BIOS-enabled drivers further expand its capabilities with both static and dynamic SkyBlue® spectrum controls. Dynamic BIOS drivers offer Bio-Dimming™, gradually reducing SkyBlue content as dimming progresses, supporting human-centric lighting strategies. For tunable white applications, SkyePool is compatible with a variety of TW driver formats, including DALI Type 6 and Type 8, Lutron T-Series, and dual-channel 0-10V systems.
The luminaire also supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) systems and is UL2108 certified for both integral and remote driver configurations. PoE integration is available through platforms such as MOLEX, IGOR, and SMARTENGINE. Emergency lighting options are available with a remote battery pack or emergency circuit. Input voltages supported include 120V, 277V, 347V, and universal configurations.
SkyePool’s color temperature options range from 2700K to 4000K, with excellent consistency across fixtures (within a 3-step MacAdam ellipse). BIOS static CCTs include 3000K, 3500K, and 4000K, while BIOS dynamic options span from 4000K to 2700K with spectral modulation. The fixture also supports Axitune systems for color tuning flexibility.
With a minimum LED lifespan of 50,000 hours at 85% lumen maintenance (per IES LM-80 standards), SkyePool is built to deliver long-term performance. Its aluminum housing functions as a heat sink to ensure thermal efficiency and maximize LED life. Rated for dry and damp indoor environments, it is designed to operate in ambient temperatures from 0°C to 40°C (32°F to 104°F).
