The Ogle Mini Track spotlight is a versatile and design-driven lighting solution born from a collaboration with design studio Form Us With Love in 2009. Originally conceived to fill a gap in the market for easily adjustable spotlights, the Ogle luminaire was designed to look striking both as a standalone piece and when grouped with others. A notable addition to the Ogle family, the Ogle Mini is a compact spotlight with a diameter of just 90 mm, made entirely of die-cast aluminium. It combines minimalist aesthetics with high functionality, offering designers and architects a stylish and flexible tool for directional lighting.
The Ogle Mini’s unique design features a melon-shaped lampshade with a refined groove on top that signals its adjustable capabilities. At the bottom of the globe, a recessed LED “eye” delivers directional illumination that can be precisely aimed thanks to the fixture’s 90° tilt and full 360° rotation. The luminaire is available in versions using Chip On Board (COB) LED technology and GU10 light sources. The COB version delivers up to 1600 lumens with a high color rendering index (CRI 90) and a 3000K color temperature, providing excellent light quality with a lifespan rated at L90 B10 for 60,000 hours. The GU10 version is compatible with dimmable Master LED lamps, offering customizable light distribution depending on the lamp used.
Built from robust die-cast aluminium with a faceted aluminium reflector, the Ogle Mini Track fixture is engineered for long-term use and visual appeal. Installation is flexible, with support for both 1-phase and 3-phase track systems. The 3-phase version is compatible with Global Track and FixPoint fittings, while COB DALI models work with Global Trac PULSE from Nordic Aluminium and One Track from Stucchi. COB ON/OFF models are compatible with most market-available tracks, with details available in a downloadable reference list.
The Ogle Mini Track luminaire provides direct light distribution, with the COB version offering a focused 40° beam angle. For GU10 models, beam spread is determined by the selected light source. This spotlight is classified under energy efficiency class F according to EU regulation 2019/2015, reflecting its advanced performance combined with environmental considerations.
