Terra Linear is Acclaim Lighting’s next-generation in-ground linear LED series, designed from the ground up to deliver powerful performance, flexibility, and durability in demanding exterior environments. Engineered with Acclaim’s proprietary XTR technology, Terra Linear enables ultra-long runs—up to 700 feet (213 meters) or even 1,400 feet in specific configurations—from a single driver. The system intelligently adapts to a wide range of input voltages from 100 to 277VAC, with support for 380VDC via Acclaim’s XTR 4000/8000 Drivers, making it an ideal solution for large-scale, architectural-grade lighting installations.
Built to be easy to specify and install, Terra Linear features a low-profile form factor, measuring under 3 inches wide. It is walk-over and drive-over rated up to 6,000 lbs (2,721kg), with an anti-slip top coating and anti-theft security screws that make it especially suitable for high-traffic public spaces. Its rugged construction includes a Type III hard-coat anodized aluminum body and finished aluminum surface, IP68 wet-location protection, IK10 impact resistance, and ANSI C136.31 3G-rated vibration protection. These characteristics make it fully prepared for harsh outdoor environments, including marine and natatorium applications.
Available in both standard and direct-view versions, Terra Linear provides a clean, dot-free appearance when used as a visible LED marker light—perfect for pathways, driveways, and architectural accents. Beam angle options include precise distributions such as 10° x 10°, 25° x 25°, 60° x 60°, 30° x 60°, and an asymmetric wall wash variant with a 20° tilt, offering excellent versatility for both grazing and general illumination.
Light output configurations range from high-output 20W per linear foot to energy-efficient 2.5W per foot. Terra Linear is offered in a wide selection of color temperatures and sources, including static white (2400K, 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K), Dynamic White (2700K–6000K), Quad Spectrum RGBW (3000K white), Quad White 4000K, Quad White 6000K, and RGBA color mixing. The white versions achieve up to 1400 lumens per foot, while color versions provide up to 700 lumens.
Control options are robust and flexible. Native DMX-512A with RDM provides precise digital control, while 0-10V and DALI protocols are supported when used with the XTR Driver. Each Terra Linear fixture is equipped with integral input and output cables using IP68 multi-pin connectors for fast, secure daisy-chaining in long runs. The system’s efficient power and control architecture streamlines installation and configuration, particularly for large façades and outdoor public installations.
Terra Linear is available in one-foot and four-foot lengths, with each fixture requiring an in-ground sleeve and pour cover for proper installation. It performs reliably in ambient temperatures ranging from -40°F to 131°F (-40°C to 55°C), ensuring long-term operation in virtually any climate. With a rated lifespan of L70 150,000 hours, Terra Linear is a durable, efficient, and visually striking choice for modern in-ground lighting applications.
