Rodeo™ Suspended Continuous luminaire combines a flexible spotlight design with a high-performance linear lighting system, creating a multifunctional fixture capable of meeting diverse lighting needs. This modular system integrates direct light, indirect light, and spotlights, providing three distinct layers of illumination. The innovative Rodeo Flip design significantly expands the adjustability of the fixture, allowing it to adapt seamlessly to various spatial layouts. Coupled with regressed optics and the elegant sheen of anodized bezels and trims, Rodeo offers both visual and aesthetic comfort, making it a refined choice for architectural lighting.
Constructed from aluminum, Rodeo features a durable powder-coated finish that enhances its sleek appearance. The fixture is suspended by steel cables and powered via a silver braided cable, maintaining a clean and modern aesthetic. Integral to the housing are HPF electronic drivers compatible with 120-277V and 347V (EU-240V) power supplies, ensuring reliable performance. The luminaire uses an opal acrylic diffuser to deliver smooth and uniform light distribution.
Rodeo can be integrated into modern building systems through Power over Ethernet (PoE) connectivity, enhancing its versatility in smart lighting applications. Mechanically, the luminaires mount directly over a J box, which is provided by others. An optional remote emergency system is available, offering 1.5 hours of backup illumination (3 hours for EU), and includes an inverter module, NiCad batteries, and a remote wall or ceiling-mounted LED charge indicator and test switch. The test switch fits a single gang box (not supplied) and can be placed up to 15 feet (4.5 meters) from the fixture.
For smart lighting integration, Rodeo is compatible with various sensor and control systems including Avi-On, Casambi, Enlighted, Lutron Vive, nLight, NX Lighting Controls, Osram, Philips, and others, with factory consultation recommended for specific applications. The fixture boasts a reported L70 life of over 55,000 hours at 25°C (77°F) with a luminous output of 2000 lumens per foot (6000 lumens per meter). Its estimated L70 life extends beyond 165,000 hours under the same conditions, ensuring long-term performance and reliability.
Delivered lumens and lumen per watt (LPW) ratings are based on 4000K color temperature with a high color rendering index (CRI) of 90+, providing high-quality, natural light. Rodeo is rated for damp locations, making it suitable for a variety of indoor environments. Designed by Serge Cornelissen, this luminaire combines aesthetics and functionality.
