Functionally, MICRO FLARE is engineered to deliver optimal lighting performance with a Unified Glare Rating (UGR) of less than 19, ensuring visual comfort and reducing eye strain. The precisely angled LEDs are designed to optimize light output and diffusion, accentuating the inner trim without overwhelming it. The fixture is well-suited for commercial, hospitality, and high-end residential applications where aesthetics must be matched by efficiency and performance.
Crafted from durable aluminum and finished with a powder-coated exterior, MICRO FLARE is suspended using steel cables and features a braided silver power cable for added design continuity. The opal acrylic diffuser provides a soft, evenly distributed light. It integrates seamlessly into smart building systems via Power over Ethernet (PoE), and includes HPF electronic drivers compatible with 120-277V and 347V (EU-240V), housed directly within the fixture.
MICRO FLARE is compatible with a wide array of lighting control systems including Avi-On, Casambi, Enlighted, Lutron Vive, nLight, NX Lighting Controls, Osram, and Philips. For emergency lighting needs, an integral system provides 1.5 hours of backup (3 hours in EU), featuring a self-contained inverter, NiCad batteries, LED charge indicator, and test switch—excluding use with 347V supplies.
Performance metrics include delivered lumens based on 4000K CRI 90+, with a reported L70 lifetime of over 60,000 hours at 1800 lumens/foot (5900 lumens/meter), and an estimated L70 of over 165,000 hours under the same conditions. Fixtures mount directly over a junction box and are rated for damp locations. For installations in regions requiring compliance with seismic regulations, optional seismic bracing kits are available.
